According to TMZ, the rumors are true: Nicole Richie is pregnant with Joel Madden's baby. We've been avoiding writing about this much since we're in total denial that it's at all possible (and still super duper hopefully it's not), but this is starting to sound like she may really be having a baby.
It really can't be a good idea -- especially since she is facing jail time. On that note though, some are saying that this is all a ploy for her to get out of it. InTouch is also reporting that she is planning to marry Joel this summer (pre-baby of course). Seriously, could this really all be true???

38People have babies while incarcerated all the time....But she's "famous" and who knows, she might get special treatment too and be waived from a punishment like everyone else would get with her crimes just because of her "pregnancy". Her sentence would not be life, for crying out loud. She can be pregnant for the couple/few weeks she's in jail. But for some reason, being pregnant makes people (at least believe that they are..) above the law or have more rights. Being pregnant makes you (more specifically her) no better than anyone else...
