James Franco sat on a NYC stoop yesterday afternoon to film Eat, Pray, Love. He was joined on set by his costar Julia Roberts, who was back to work after spending the weekend with her adorable family. James also shot Howl in the city earlier this year, but his current project looked much more relaxed as he fielded calls on his BlackBerry and sipped coffee between takes. Smart guy James always seems to keep some reading material close by, which should come in handy for brushing up on his literature before grad school resumes in the Fall.
To see more of James and Julia just read more.

well his part isn't that big in the movie (or book) so i'm sure that he'll have even more free time to 'chill'. anyway, i wish that i liked him more but i don't.
so is javier still in the movie? i can't remember if i heard that he dropped out of this one too since he wants to take a break i thought.
1I'm biased about Mr. Franco. I kind of like him. But sometimes it seems like he wants to become a great actor/ director by going to elite colleges.... when it's really not so much about brains but talent. Somehow he seems to lack fantasy and creativity. But I could be wrong, just my impression.
2btw, James and Julia look like they hate each other. The way the sit on the stairs looks rather odd lol
3he is so hot...I want to kiss him!
4He was so funny in The Pineapple Express. I really didn't think he could do it, but he pulled it off with flying colors. I'm hoping he'll do good here too.
5he's growing on me....I tried to read this book but lost interest after the first few pages...
6the book was good has some potential for making a movie .can't wait to see
7I love him
8i would like to see julia roberts cast again with george clooney. they had very good chemistry on and off-set, and would just light up the screen like hepburn/tracy. i don't know if franco is meant to be her love interest, but he seems quite young for her. as she ages, she seems more and more jaded and guarded - more cynicism comes through in her expressions. even though there should have been lots of chemistry between clive owen and her in duplicity, it was a dud because she was so stiff and self-conscious. miss the more relaxed and accessible julia roberts. hope this picture helps her come back to herself.
