Madonna got in some final work out time before her big performance at Saturday's Live Earth event. We're super excited to see the show with its already incredible line-up and possible surprise appearances. NBC will be broadcasting a 3 hour special featuring highlights from all the concerts around the world, while Bravo will air 18 hours of live coverage from the huge event. The whole thing will also be streaming live on MSN online. So we want to know, will you be watching?

1No, celebrating anniversary with bf....
2No. I don't plan to be outdoors, either, it's too damn hot. I just have absolutely no interest in Live Earth and even less in Madonna.
3nope i won't i'm working all day and almost all night ! i'll watch it online on sunday.
^ Congrat Deba.
4I'll watch some of it, but I don't have the attention span to make that kind of commitment. 18 hours, is just too long.
5Thanks Nadioz!
6No not even interested, it's so boring and unoriginal bob Geldof already beat them to it, twice.
7Nope will not watch it. Do not care for Madonna or Live Earth. I am sure I can something more fun to do with my time.
8Um no.
9nooooooooooooo
10Probably not, it is Saturday afternoon, after all!! I'll be by the pool!!
11I much rather be at the beach working on my tan
12only 4 madonna
13I appreciate why the concert is taking place but, no, I do not plan on watching. If I happen to have the tv on, I may switch over just to see who is on at the moment.
On a related note, The National Museum of the American Indian (A Smithsonian museum) on the Mall In Washington DC will be having a day long concert on 07/07/07 to honor "Our Mother Earth". This concert is in affiliation with the Live Earth Events but will not be broadcast. Here's a link to the NMAI site just in case you are interested http://www.americanindian.si.edu/motherearth/.
If you get a chance to visit DC on vaction, a trip to the NMAI is a must. The NMAI open in the Fall of 2004 and is a wonderful museum dedicated to the First Peoples of the Americas.
14XM radio is playing it all day long on four different stations. I'll be tuning in there.
15i might watch bits of it, but im not sitting there all day watching it.
16Deba!! Congratulations on your anniversary!!! I'm sending out >> vibes to ya!!!! The power of positive thinking,
17I'm going to the beach! And a big congrats to Deba! Cheers to many more years together!
18CONGRATS DEBA!!!!!!!!!!!!
19only for the dave matthews band.
20not interested..... who came up with this sh!te?
21Nope, in a wedding. Woo hoo!
22NO...and frumpy Maddy needs to hem them pants!
23Nope. Have no interest. I think it's a pointless exercise. By staging all these concerts aren't they going to be using a huge amount of electricity. And you can be sure that a lot of the performers will be travelling to the gigs via private jet, and then collected by an SUV. How will this help?????
24NOPE...sorry, going to go SUV shopping...
Just kidding, but I do have more conscience things
to do. Should I sit around watching gas-guzzling celebs tell me about the importance of saving the earth, or do I actually do something positive in my community for 3 hours...I'm choosing
community. Hey, Rain Moon, that sounds interesting. I actually live in DC, that sounds like a fun activity to do!!!!
25I have tickets to the show in NJ and will be heading down from Manhattan. The point of the concert is to raise awareness, and the organizers have gone to great lengths to reduce the impact of the event on the environment.
26Probally! I'm staying at home this Saturday, so it'll be something for me to watch, hahah.
27i want to but doubt i can...bf's cousin's wedding is on 07.07.07. it's going to be a longggg day.
28there are other more effective/environmentally ways to raise awareness about an issue, getting a bunch of people to sing a song is not one......
29*environmentally friendy ways....
30I will be spending my Saturday doing something better!
31I'll definately at least flip through.
32I will actually be volunteering at the NJ show, teaching people how to recycle. I am super psyched!!!
33what in the hell is this even about? havent heard ANYTHING about it!
34Madonna! I love her!
35What's with all the Madonna haters?!? You know everyone will be talking about her amazing performance tomorrow!! Great cause and more people should respect their environment. A little change can go a long way...
36I think it's a great event and cause but I don't really have any interesting in sitting in front of the TV and watching it all. I'm sure the best performances will be up on youtube or something eventually.
37Ladybug it's actually about a bunch of egomaniacs flying in on their private planes arriving in gas guzzling limosines and creating a huge power surge on a stage just so they can create more ego boosting cheers and kiss butts telling them how wonderful and beautiful and great they are in the name of recycling. Yup, we're all a bunch of hypocrites. When these mansion living, limosine driving private plane people can live like ED BEAGLEY, JR. Then I will watch them sing for our earth. AMEN.
38thank you for the clarification margie, well SAID!
39No. Global warming is a crock and a totally liberal issue and it's a bunch of Al Gore loving celebrities or celebrities that hate America so much that they decided to leave altogether like Madonna.
40I doubt I'll watch it. After all they keep telling us to stop producing CO2, so I won't put on my TV to watch it, and Mother Nature will love me for that.
Ha, Gore, take that! *lol*
41just madonna and DMB most likely.
42madonna's great to see live.
dont forget about gwen paltrow in england and all the other celebs like jane fonda who said theyd leave when bush was re-elected, oh WAIT, they didnt leave did they? hm.....
43I HAVE A LIFE.. I CANT SPEND 18 HOURS WATCHING TV! SOCIAL SUICIDE.
I LIKE THE CAUSE THO..
44THANK YOU LADIES!!!!
45Me watch?...naw. I would rather poke my eyes out and drive a nail through both my ears. That's probably more fun.
46kh61582...right
That's probably one of the most ignorant statements I've read today. Any
human being born in the last 25 years can tell you that the weather has changed drastically...I know it has here in the Mid-Atlantic region. Oh, and tell that to the ever melting glaciers!!!
47might catch a few acts but not really planning my day around it..
CONGRATS DEBA!!!
48i would watch madonna tie her shoes!!! love her and will be watching, plus my dh is on a fishing trip saturday... nothing else to do!
49well said tiabia!
