We already got a peek at Ashley Olsen's appearance in September's Marie Claire, and now there are more images from her photo shoot, plus quotes from her interview. Ashley talked to the magazine about her love of fashion and the pressures of fame during childhood. She said:

- On pressure she and Mary-Kate faced in childhood: "I look back at the things that we did and the clothes that we wore, and I think, 'Wow, we really were troupers.' It was almost like I was in the army. School, work, homework, fly to New York, get in at 2 in the morning, do a morning show at 5 am, then another one at 7, then a radio interview at 10, you know? ... That's why I look at Britney, and I'm surprised I didn't end up like her."
- On their fashion sense: "I think you're either born with a sense of style or you're not. Either you care or you don't. And we love fashion. When we were going to NYU, I think that was the first time we were aware of the power of our personal style. Not the power of it, but the result of it. Between the big sunglasses and the Starbucks cup and the big sweaters, the hobo-chic thing, we were more shocked than anything [by the media coverage]. I get it; we were fortunate enough to have really nice clothes, and we put them together in this raggedy way. My mom wears glasses this big"—she mimes massive goggles—"from the '70s, and you wonder where we got it from?"
- On winding down with Rock Band and her boyfriend: "I swear to you, [Rock Band's] brought out this whole new thing in me. I can be a very serious person, and I take my job very seriously, but at the end of the day, I need a break. . . [Being able to count on Justin Bartha] — It's more important than anything else in the world."
she looks fantastic in these pics. its weird seeing michelle tanner all sexy....
i don't understand what she is trying to say about her and MK's fashion? that they were surprised the raggedy clothes made them cooler?
1to be honest, i really like when i hear ashley and MK talk about their lives. it's nice to see their perspective on things - since it's not usually something that you get a glimpse into.
2I love hearing about celebrities doing normal things like playing rockband. haha
3She looks good.
Definitely a stretch in the use of the word gamer.
4all I hear is Charlie Brown's teacher...she's more tolerable than the other one
5She sounds really smart in this interview- and she's super pretty
6blah blah blah blobbedy blah blah
7To be honest I don't see anything special about there style. Its kind of sloppy.
8that schedule must have been rough for small kids...i don't know what to think of parents who do that to their kids. on the other hand, if we all only had their money!
9she looks really grown-up and beautiful in these pics. love the photoshoot and how it brings out her best.
10Im not a fan of hers, but she comes across normal and down to earth in interviews. This might just be me, but I hate when people suggest that style is something your born with. I think style, like knowledge, and wisdom is something you acquire through experiences and stages in life.
11Are you people for real. They're kid stars from a bad sitcom. Ashley is marginally cute. Why would anyone want to hear about their private lives? Why do people like Karl Lagerfeld have anything to do with them. Close do not hang well off them... they are 5 foot tall and look like they raided their mother's closet. Born with a sense of style? They had millions when they were ten! My grandmother was born on a farm and when she got into the big world she ended up shopping at Bloomingdales and wearing Chanel. The Olsens point of view is from their bubble of non reality.
12@In The Know II -- Obviously, you're not in the know. A brand of clothes doesn't make a person stylish. When people own their style it makes others take notice. It's all about being comfortable with who you are. Thrift stores have just as many stylish, quality pieces as Chanel. You just have to know what to look for.
13who is she to say that "she didnt end up like britany." okay first of all britany spears experienced so much fame at a young age, and the amount of fame ashley experienced is no where near britany's. Britany spears may have had a meltdown but at least she was brave enough to get back on her feet and continue her phenomenal career, doing it all in the public eye.
14i like ashley and mk and i think she looks great, but i do think everyone needs to quit with the comments about turning out like britney. why keep bringing it up, she's making herself better and i'm sure would appreciate everyone letting it go.
15There's a couple amazing shots in there. Can't wait to read the full article.
16I love Ashley. I'm surprised at how many people are taking her comments the wrong way. I'm sure if I watched Ashley in interview saying those comments, it wouldn't come off snotty or self-righteous, etc. I can definitely relate to what she's saying: either you love fashion or you don't, and she does love and care for fashion. The schedule she had to go through when she was young...no wonder she didn't grow so much!
17she's "surprised" that she didn't end up like Britney. So is every childhood star supposed to end up like her? poor choice of word.
18love Ashley.. she looks amazing in the shots
