Jennifer Lopez carted off to Lisbon this weekend to perform at the announcement ceremony for the New Seven Wonders of the World. Judging from these pictures, the scene was a bit ridiculous. This new list was apparently chosen by 100 Million votes from people in 200 countries. Who knew? As for what spots made the cut: Chichén Itzá, Mexico; Christ the Redeemer, Brazil; The Great Wall, China; Machu Picchu, Peru; Petra, Jordan; The Roman Colloseum, Italy; The Taj Mahal, India. The fabulous Jennifer Lopez somehow didn't make the list. Maybe next time, J Lo!

31Jennifer was scheduled to perform at Live Earth early on. Her name was always included in the list, but she decided to attend the New 7 Wonders concert in Portugal instead. She got paid a lot of money..as usual.
Thanks goodness 'cuz Live Earth was REALLY boring. I liked the 7 Wonders concert a lot better. You should check out her performance. She sang live and sounded really good. Loved the dancing in the beginning. I don't like her recent female back-up dancers & their looks though.

37Fiend, they selected the new wonders of the world for many reasons, but rest assured that it's not an every 10 years thing. This is the second set of world wonders. It was announced on 7/7/7.

45She looks like a cartoon character! I know she's a leo (very dominant) so I guess she's the one making all the decisions in her marriage, LOL. She sure comes across as quite aggressive. She reminds me of somone famous who's just tanked a film (I don't want to say the name as I might be shot by some people in pop, LOL)

Chichen Itza is AMAZING. I went there in March and was awestruck. I am probably responsible for about 200 of those votes. I'm so happy to see it made the list - It is so deserved. If anyone ever heads to the Cancun/Riviera Maya area, you MUST take that tour.
