Mischa got to play dress up in some bright colors and interesting headgear for the August issue of Elle UK. Ever since Marissa Cooper was killed off The OC, we haven't seen much of Mischa on-screen, but that hasn't stopped her from landing magazine covers. In the article, Mischa talks about her rise to fame and what it means to be grouped with the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, saying,
"It is a persona. It's not me. I think, 'Who the hell is that girl?' I'm so low-key and chilled. But the media has created a fake 'Young Hollywood' where everyone hangs out together and everybody knows each other. It couldn't be further from the truth. I feel so, so different from those girls."
Hmmm. Well Mischa may feel so different from those girls, but wasn't it less than 2 months ago that she had to leave Nicole Richie's bbq and head to the hospital? The media may play it up, but we don't think Mischa is as far removed from it as she'd like to think.

4You forgot to mention Pop, that she has been caught sobbing in her car, smoking pot in her car more than once, dated an oily heir who is now broke, rumored to have something to do with her demise of leaving The OC, dated a guy who's balls have been seen by many in the internet, not getting any work because she can't act, and was or is still a client of scary-lookinh Rachel Zoe.
I don't know about you but that sounds like a perfect making of a young starlet like the likes of Nicole, Paris and Lindsay to me.

11Mischa Barton has currently 7-6 films lined up for the coming years, much more than ANY other O.C starlet. Rachel Bilson only has Jumper coming out next year, yet MB is working on many movies such as, St. Trinians, Virgin Terriotory and Finding tatu. It's beyond insane to think that she's on magazine covers for no reason. If anyone looked at her imbd page you'll see her lineup of movies.
12Mischa Barton IS different from Nicole, Lindsay and Paris. Her mother stated that Nicole and her and just acquaintances, and Mischa is more known as a home-body.
13So what if she dated Cisco? She dumped him because she realized that she deserved more from him. Clearly we shouldn't judge a person by their appearance. That's outrageous.
Also, if any of you guys did check out Mischa's projects she not only has many international movies coming out, yet she's working her ass off in Russia for many moveis. And, promotion Keds all the way.
Actually quite a boring article on the whole. she's not a very interesting person. The photography seemed a little uninspired also.

Lastly the only reason she's doing so many movies outside the U.S. because everyone here in the states know she can't act and she's only doing these mediocre foreign films to gain experience but with the benefit that no one will see the movies here in the States; therefore when she comes back to the state looking for Hollywood films people won't know that she's in those movies but while producers will be in awe with her sudden developed acting skills.

I think personally you aren't getting anything straight. Rachel Bilson has done one movie and has another one coming out next fall or whatever. She barely gets recongized and if she deos, it's always the same old same old, "Aww! She is so cute!" With Mischa, atleast we know she is known for other stuff besides her beauty. pmsl. Mischa's much more appealing than any other chick in Hollywood imo. gfu.

23I'm all with the not judging people by appearances, but it doesn't change the fact that I think she's dumb.
24I mean she knew damn well who these girls were, and what they are known for if she didn't want a bad rep she should've just stayed away, not wait until a year later and come around saying she's nothing like them. Maybe she wanted publicity and now that she has 50 or so movies lined up she goes around saying she is far from being like them. I think she should've just kept quiet about the situation instead.
to lillie, i just saw your account, and now how frustrates i am,,,it's feels like your barking on the wrong tree....we all now mischa has many movies lined up....and how rude you take it upon on rachel....that she has only 1 or 2 movies..it is because she wants to accept roles that are being offered same with natalie portman and scarlett johannson....you can check it out if you want,,,she is a really nice person,she has charities for kids,hosting denim lines and she is a private person...that's why i truly admired her....because of her simplicity and sweetness.....to herself and to the public....by the way mischa has a lot of movies because she picked up any roles that are offered on her.....but in this business if you want to make it big like jessica alba,scarlett johannson,many more....you gotta have a big big hit movie....not any kind of role,,,just what like megan fox has right now....she wasn't recognized in her movie with lindsay but now that she is on the box-office hit transformers i think big roles are up for her....and if jumper make it big...it surely will be a big hit for rachel after being so much recognized by her character, summer....that's why 8 out of 10 prefer her than mischa because she is nice,bubbly,genuine person who keeps her personal life private.....t.c. and peace out!!!
