Jessica Might Need Prozac
Poor Jessica. She's sad, and doesn't want to talk about it. In fact, Pimp Daddy Simpson is saying she's depressed and that the family has to walk on eggshells around her. We thought Jessica looked like she was crying at Ashlee's Chicago debut earlier this week. Here's more:
Jessica Simpson stormed out of her sister Ashlee's party in London's Sound Bar on Monday night, shouting: "I don't want to be here - why won't people just leave me alone?" Ash had just made her successful West End debut as Roxy Hart in the musical Chicago. Sipping tequila cocktails, she told us: "All my family are here, which is amazing."
But actress Jess, who split from husband Nick Lachey last year, clearly wasn't at her best. Her dad Joe told us: "Jess is quite down at the moment. She's not comfortable talking to people as she's quite depressed and we're walking on eggshells."
Is it time for us to feel sorry for Jessica? She seemed strong after the divorce but maybe she was just excited. Now she is lonely and her career is not as hot. It's no wonder she is in a funk. It's pretty clear she is depressed these days. She is wearing over sized sweaters in hot weather or wearing all black like she is headed to a funeral. One thing Jessica needs to learn is that Hollywood is full of ups and downs. Her sister is on an up these days. 1HAHAHAHAHA!! I'm sorry, I had to laugh when I saw this. She's just trying to find something to excuse her behaviour. She wants everyone to feel sorry for her now.
2Um, no, it isn't time to pity her. She walked out on the best thing that ever happened to her and for no apparent reason other than she's pretty damn spoiled and selfish. The only thing I pity her for is having a dad like Joe Pimpson and being foolish enough to let fame go to her head and ruin her relationships.

Ok, Publicity stunt: yes. Who tells the tabloids that his family has to walk on eggshells around his depressed daughter? When Ashley did that wierd dance on SNL he told the tabloids that afterwards Ashley was *suicidal.* I think Jessica is jealous that she is not the center of attention. That's why she left the party. And I have NO sympathy for her. I just wish she would go away! She is not even in the US and Papa Joe is still keeping us all up to date. Why?

31I think the photog said the cart is a reference to Employee of the Month. Depression sucks, I feel sorry for her if she actually is depressed, but maybe she'll wake up and realize that there are more important things in life than chasing fame at any price.

You know she's just a human being. Everyone has their down moments. I'm sure she is depressed but she'll come out of it alright. Celebrities always lie about the truth. When can we see one celebrity that's like you know what yeah I'm going through a rough time right now SO WHAT!

43Although I personally think she made a big mistake by breaking up her marriage, she has chosen to do so and the past cannot be changed. Depression is a terrible thing and her behavior as of late is pretty indicitave of depression. However I don't know her so who knows what the truth could be.
I do worry, though, that eventually Jessica is going to end up suicidal at some point in her life. I really think she has been sheltered and sold out by her father and mother, and now the public attention is not on her (which her father taught her is the most important) and she got rid of the only guy who would put up with such manipulative parents and still love her.
However, the past *is* the past. And if she is doing this as a publicity stunt, then I feel even sorrier for her. I'm just grateful for what I have in life and she will have a lonely life if she craves things she can't have long-term.
