I listened to it then muted it, I thought she didn't have much of a stage presence or charisma. I thought it could be better to get more into the song by not hiding behind a hand held microphone.

I thought she was pretty lame last night! This wasn't sexy, more like a little girl trying to play dress-up. She had no stage presence and totally lip synced the whole thing and hid behind that mic.

I can't see the video but generally I'd say Hilary is coming into her own and has sex appeal. If she wants to push that, more power to her.

Hilary is hot and Hilary is sexy, but I think it's a little out of character for her to be dressing like this. Compared to what she wears out to events and her image in general, I think it looks weird.

I've actually been warming up to Hilary lately, but she looked BORED during the whole performance! There was absolutely no passion at all. All she did was wave around an arm here or there and point. Very lame "dance" performance to put on "so you think you can dance". Plus- lip syncing? Come on you weren't even dancing much!!!

I like Hil and I think she's a gorgeous girl but this performance was pretty bad! I don't really call that belly dancing either....I mean I can move my hips the way she did, haha!
Now my girl Shakira can move it....she has stage presence something Hil is lacking! Also pre-crazy Brit like some of you mentioned! I must agree that Slave was probably one of the hottest video's of all time....I mean all that sweat, and the low rise jeans and the great dancing......now that was SEXY!

I don't find slutty sexy. Some people do. I'm someone who tends to find sweaters, beards, and hiking boots sexy.

you know what props to hill on staying on the "nice girl" side of the line for most of her carear but she looked stoned here, her words were not clear/ slurred, and her moves were not nearly as sharp as her background dancers... the biggest problem with a routine like this especially for Hillary is the background dancers are sexier than she is...

Not at all sexy. I know she's trying her damnedest to vamp it up these days, but for me it's not working. It's the equivalent of a surf board swaying back and forth.

I agree with everyone who said she had zero stage presence and charisma. I couldn't tell if she was lip synching but if she wasn't she sounded fine. But the dancing was a joke- all she did was a hip pop here and there - even her dancers were boring. She is bubble gum, bland. Perfect for kids.

She didn't dance enough not to sing live. If you are going to lip you damn sure better dance your ass off. Britney lipped when she danced, but her dancing was insane. Hilary always lips since she can't really sing. She's pretty, but she's not an entertainer at all. She doesn't have a stage presence or charisma. She's an actress and a Disney singer.

As for being sexy? There is nothing wrong with what she did. It was nice and tasteful. It was just below average on every level.

I think Brit and Hilary are very different types of sexy...to each their own But Hilary is definitely coming into her own and growing up, it's good to see it's not too fast either.

Shakira! Well, to me that's as blasphemous as comparing this to a classic Britney Spears performance. I hate to rag on Hilary to, since she's so put together and seems like a nice girl. But she sleep walks through her performances. She's like doing karaoke.

I think if she pushed it farther, then it would be a bit much. But I don't think that her sexiness in this video is out of line at all.

She definitely doesn't have the best voice and she is lipsynching in this performance, but the songs on her newest albums are the best that she's done so far. But I still don't think she can sing at all, she has a "studio voice" like Britney.

I must admit, that was pretty boring. I think it's quite obvious that she doesn't dance, but she could've at least given the audience a live singing performance. Seriously, the girl is nice and all but she needs to step it up especially if she wants to be taken seriously as an artist.

That same could be said for her acting. She's still young though, hopefully she will improve.

She just trotted around doing pretty much nothing. What little she did was very basic and not at all inspiring. She may have been dressed up like a sensual belly dancer but she was far from it. It was like wooden plank wobbling around.
