I saw JG in Boulder when she was pregnant and shooting Catch and Release, and she was buying crocs for (presumably) herself and Ben. As Molly pointed out recently: Ben looks like a tard in his, but baby's look adorable!

I still can't figure out if Violet looks more like Jen or Ben.

I agree with girlA, a backpack is WAY easier than a purse/diaper bag. And at the zoo, you tend to need a lot of stuff.

She has that same eyelet dress in at least three colors that we've seen so far. Orange in Hawaii, black last week in LA, and this violet one. It looks really cute and comfy. I've been wanting one since the first sighting, so that's why I keep noticing it.

Greggie, I think if you are looking for maternity wear ideas - you could wear anything we see Jen in. Even tho. her body is bangin', she wears these loose in the front tops. If I had a midsection like her's, I'd be wearing something a little tighter. (but I don't...)

Who cares if she's wearing a backpack? I'm sure it's easier to carry Violet's things when walking all around the zoo...AND I think her dress is cute! I also noticed (like Ginger), that she seems to have it in many colors. It's summery and pretty, I'd like to have one of my own, also!

Love the dress. And the backpack, my mommy friends tell me, is a must and so much easier with a toddler than a typical diaper/baby bag because it leaves your hands free.

I agree Dirtbikemommy - AND, there were pics the other day of their driveway/front of the house, and it looked totally normal. Of COURSE very expensive, but not over the top. They just seem so down to earth - I love.

She's such a good mom, I just love to see her and little Violet. Can't wait for the next baby, someday.

Ok, I get the whole "natural, cute Mommy taking baby to the zoo" thing, but I'm getting a little tired of them. Sure, I had a backpack with my son, but I left it in the car. And I took one diaper and some wipes and put them in my purse for an emergency. Blah.

i love her C&C dress and i'd buy it in different colors as well! i think they look so adorable! I hope she's pregnant! they are the picture perfect little family.

My purse is way harder to carry than a backpack. Plus I'm not buying the zoo food when I can bring my own snacks and bottled water for a fraction of the price.

There is no freakin way that woman is pregnant. She was skinny and very toned in Hawaii. She's got a VERY slight tummy and it's just not even a tummy... I hate to even say it is one. But no way she's pregnant. I still don't find Violet very cute though.

I found it on the candccalifornia website (on sale now $109) and the gathered part is elastic, so that probably explains why it puckers at the tummy a little. Elastic shifts while you're moving. It's lined and comes in a few colors.

anyone here ever been to the la zoo? lots of walking to be done. so it would not be good to leave your diaper bag in the car..she looks cute and comfy, as she should, it's gets freakin hot at the zoo as well so she should be as comfortable as she can.
