Catherine Zeta-Jones' contract is about to end with T-Mobile and they are not resigning it. At first we thought it would be the typical younger, hotter, woman taking her place, but apparently it will be something totally different. CZJ supposedly was being paid somewhere between $8-9 million a year as the T-Mobile spokesperson. Guess now she'll have to make more movies. Here's more:
The new initiatives will be followed by a major rebranding effort. The company has decided to drop Ms. Zeta-Jones from its advertising in favor of a more man-on-street approach to marketing, people familiar with the matter say. Ms. Zeta-Jones may continue to appear in some ads until her contract expires next year, but eventually she will be phased out.

I really like Catherine and Michael together, but this is one of the couples that I never want to see in a sex scene....ewwwww!

She always came off as a bit of a b*tch in the T-Mobile commercials..so it may be good for her career to do some more movies..maybe more like Ocean's 12 and Chicago and less like Zorro.

I agree though that it's getting tiresome to see her in those commercials and they both come off as a bit snooty. I admit his blonde hair does make him look a smidge younger, but ugh, what's with the shirt open like that?? Gross and he looks bad with blonde hair.
Overall, she's a BEAUTIFUL woman, but I'm tired of these two.
17Those T-Mobile spots always gave me a bad taste in my mouth. It was so obvious to me that she was never really in the scenes with the other people in the commercials... they'd film the other people then put them on a green screen and put CZJ in front of it. The special effect worked moderately well, but the actors were never good at pretending that they were actually looking at her. That's what gave it away.
I always wondered why. Did she not want to interact with plebian commercial actors?
