Beyonce Knowles was in NYC last night for a meal at Nello's with Jay-Z. She's back in the US after her trip to Japan, where her sister Solange tweeted about experiencing the big earthquake that also shook Jessica Simpson. Beyonce missed out on Jay-Z's recent bash for his Rocawear clothing line, but their dinner for two looked like a more intimate way to be welcomed home. The couple is constantly jet-setting around the world, but Jay-Z will be in the city early next month as one of the newly announced performers at the MTV VMAs.

as for the earthquake - i'm glad that they are all ok - that's not a fun thing to experience - even if you're used to them.
