ABC scored last night as the most watched network in the coveted 18-49 demo. Ugly Betty, one of the most highly anticipated shows this season, premiered with strong ratings but still came in second in the 8 pm spot against Survivor: Cook Islands. Salma is the executive producer of Betty and is looking fabulous on the pages of Vogue. Congrats to Salma & Betty on their big debut!

14I'm not sure how much it is anymore. I know they lowered the price from when I bought it. We paid $200.00 for the box and then $200.00 for the life time service?? Something like that. It was alot. Now it's much cheaper. Especially for the series 2 ones like I have. They just released the series 3 so those are like $500.00 bucks. They are coming out this Christmas. I want one of course.

21I really like that Salma comes up with ideas and pushes for them until they're made. It makes her seem so much more passionate about what she does than someone who hangs out at the Ivy until the right script is handed to her.
22One of my favorite actresses, and she always comes across so classy. She is so beautiful, and seems like a nice person. I didn't think I would like ugly betty, but it was good. She is very different, than the typical actresses nowadays. She reminds me a bit of the late Natalie wood,with her exotic and darker features

33the show was sort of entertaining... but then again it seemed like a pretty obvious rip-off of the devil wears prada in many ways (ugly style-less girl starts working for high fashion mag!?). i hope that changes in the episodes to come because otherwise it clearly had potential.

36Margaretha - Ugly Betty is a long running show from Colombia. It by far pre-dates Devil Wears Prada. So, if anything, DWP is a ripoff.

I'm glad the mugshots are gone too. That was kind of weird staring at them all yesterday. It was definitely interesting and funny. I thought it was a great idea; I wonder who thought of it.
