We've already had a listen to Scarlett Johansson and Pete Yorn's latest song, "Relator," and they've just released a video for the track, which is off the duo's forthcoming album, Breakup. It seems like Scarlett isn't letting her music career fall to the wayside as she continues working on films, but watch the black and white video and tell us what you think — are you rocking out or dozing off to Scarlett and Pete's video?

i really liked
I like the song a lot !
Oh, Scarlett, you're just SO indy! And the country twang you inject into your crappy voice just adds that extra dimension that your acting lacks. Puke.
i don't hate it. But I don't like a couple things, there's a line in it that is so much like a line in a beatles song everytime she sings it, it throws me off "while you're away you write home every day" errrrrr
and when she sings alone and when he sings alone, it seems like they're singing two totally different songs. And she's not really singing, more like flowy talking, but it's better than the tom waits covers crap she did
She looks distant and bored but i like the song.
I don't think it sounds like her, but I like the song. I never heard the other things she recorded. Overall, I'd say pretty cool.
I wonder if I'd not known it was Scarlett if I'd like it any better. I don't hate her, but she bugs me. The voice just seem so, forced. But whatever, follow your dreams, regardless of what people think!
She has an unusual voice and I like it. It's good to hear things that are not your usual cookie-cutter songs.
If she could sing at all or portray any emotion whatsoever, I might like it. But like her acting, it's just dead.
She should not sing. Ever.
I liked it- she didn't seem into it in the video but I like the song.
I like the song, I like Yorn. SJ should really, really, really NOT sing - ever. The only reason she can is because of her celebrity & money. It sucks that "real" singers can't get a contract but this no-talent flat affect (I can't call her an actress) person can't.
I dunno, I kind of dig it.
Her voice just doesn't compliment the sound at all.
this is a cute song
i am a big fan of pete yorn, but i hate scarlett's voice
yeah it totally didnt seem natural when she sang at all--I wasn't expecting her voice to sound like that. It seemed like she was trying to get her voice to sound like that. That aside I liked it.
At least her voice doesn't sound as terrible as it does live
I honestly liked it. Scarlett's voice is interesting though like other commentors I wasn't expecting it to sound quite like that. MAkes me think of what Lily Allen said about Amy Winehouse, that it's not her "natural" singing voice.
I actually like her voice. Its different and the song was different.
Her Tom Waits album was horrible, but I'm a fan of this song.
Ugh, I have loved Pete's music for year but I hate this collaboration with SJ. It seems very gimmicky and her voice is awful. I guess this is getting him some publicity which I assume he is going for.
i like it. it's got a nice vibe.
I like him a lot, so this will do. As for her looking bored, the album supposedly has a Serge Gainsbourg/Brigitte Bardot vibe... so I guess they got that.
I like the song EXCEPT for when Scarlett sings solo, besides that I like the chorus and I like Pete's solo part. Scarlett's voice is a lil off. I don't know maybe that twang she adds to it when she sings.
I hated her other stuff, but I like this a lot, it sounds like Norah Jones/Amy Winehouse.
i like the song, it's cute!
I'm with the group that LOVES Yorn but hates this song.
the song is so cute! i love it when yorn sings. her voice sounds like a bad imitation of amy winehouse.
I love it. It's soulful & catchy yet rough & rock-ish.. kinda reminds me of the Beatles. A+ for being creative & unique girly. =)
