BuzzSugar declared Californication as one of the reasons to watch TV this summer and we're counting down to the premiere along with our favorite Showtime series, Weeds (now hopefully improved with the adorable MK!). We've been waiting for the return of David Duchovny ever since the season finale of X-Files in 2002. We got one X-Files movie, but we were told many more were to come to fruition. Now it seems as if it may be one step closer to happening. DD said key members are on board and he's getting a script soon.
Another reason to tune into Showtime's Californication - the series includes Natascha McElhone, Jim Carrey's love interest from one of my all time favorite movies, The Truman Show!

3That is Charlotte's second husband, although my first recognition was that he was Hurley's imaginary friend on Lost!!! I didn't realize he was that little.

Ladybugrenee, he was crushed on because he was cute, and as much as I rag on him, he reminds me a bit of Shia Labeouf. Not the archetype of a hunk, but there is something mysteriously hot about these types of men...at least for me.

Every time he has a new movie/tv show/project to advertise he just happens to mention a new X-Files movie. After that, every press story starts: "OMG! New X-Files movie! But meanwhile David Duchovny is working on...." Ta da! His new project gets press coverage and all he had to do was randomly mention a show he was on five years ago. He doesn't have to provide details. News programs want ANY information even if it's vague and non-specific.
Would PopSugar *really* have commented on his new show without the X-Files comments... maybe, but how many other places would have.
I will say again... David Duchovny is a brilliant man.

I had to look up who Madeline Zima was because she looks just like the little girl that played in The Long Kiss Goodnight with Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson. Turns out it wasn't but her name was Yvonne Zima so they must be sisters (actually there are 3 Zima girls acting)...sorry but that was driving me crazy. LOL!

28OMG, that's where she's from! The Nanny! Duh, I couldn't place her except for the little girl (her sister) in The Long Kiss Goodnight. All I know is seeing her in that sex scene with David Duchovny made me freak out.
29Oh man! How could you not be in love with David if you were a teen or older in the late 80's early 90's. He was on Twin Peaks too which I was addicted to, the the sex filled yet religiously powerful and weird The Rapture, Kalifonia with Brad, and Playing God with Angie..forget about it! Plus I was addicted to the X Files..
