Dakota Fanning got all done up for this weekend's edition of T Magazine. She found time to pose for a shoot during her busy Summer of work on The Runaways, though it was her character Jane in New Moon that was a topic of discussion during her interview. Dakota said, "She’s pretty much evil . . . Yes, she may feel like she’s just doing her job by torturing people, but that’s evil." Playing a nasty character might have been a stretch, but it seems like sweet Dakota made herself a few friends on set.

8I love these pictures, but I really kind of wish that she showed just a bit more emotion. It's not sensual; it's a typical bored expression. While they are stylized well, without the makeup and outfit, I don't think there would be such a fuss about them.
(Note: I'm not dissing Dakota; I do think she has a young beauty about her. I just don't find these photos of her extraordinary.)
9she is not a role model most "kids" don't go bad until 19 or 20 so give her minute before you applaud her.

21She is definitely growing into her looks. She is pretty. I hope she stays on the straight and narrow and doesn't get all drugged up and skanky.
22I think another "fun fact" about Dakota is that even as she's grown up before our eyes, she's maintained a terrific sense of humor, and is articulate in expressing herself. I've always enjoyed her visits to the Tonight Show (with Jay Leno)where she was able to converse in a manner often missing from "stars" a number of years her senior! Wherever your career takes you, Miss Fanning, don't forget to keep up your education! You're bright, and you're beautiful!
