Now that JT is back in the states, Madonna can get back to her other passions, like taking care of her family and working out. Fitness has always been a huge part of her life, just check out these insane then and now pics of her running. As for her home life, things will probably be a bit more stressful than the gym for the next month or so - Madonna and Guy will be getting a visit from the head of child welfare services in Malawi to check on David Banda. The official will stay with the family for up to 5 days and his assessment will determine whether or not Madge can permanently adopt David, based on whether or not her lifestyle affects him psychologically. Growing up in the limelight can't be easy for any celebrity baby, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that Madonna will be able to keep the little one she obviously loves so much.

6I can't believe how horrible this adoption process has gone. On every level it has been handled so terribly and has been bad for everyone directly involved and adoption in general. It is astounding that it has not been finalized yet. It must be terrifying to love little David and act as his mother and father while the whole time thinking he is going to be taken away from them! Sure life in the 'limelight' is not easy I am sure, but come on, who in their right mind thinks that returning to live in poverty, in an orphanage is better? That little cutie guy hit the jackpot when he was adopted by Madonna and Guy and to continue to risk that is soooooo cruel to the whole family.

17Boring!! What happened to her lust for stardom? Oh, right...she achieved world domination already. I still say she should do a Broadway musical...but on Broadway, you don't get paid the big bucks and you have to work 7 nights a week.

If Madonna wanted just to play cool adopting an African baby, she would choose one from another country, where the procedure is not so complicated, as Angie for example did! But she was aware of the problems of this temporary custody and despite all she took the step! She has the guts, ladies! I totally admire her!

24She kept him for a relatively long time for the process not to be complete. I mean, I know she GOT him super quick but to have him this long without knowing if it was for keeps...
25I feel sorry for her that she can't handle aging well. She looks like an old hag playing dress-up half the time. Speaking of David, I bet he ends up so screwed up from being adopted by her. Guy and her will split eventually and with her fame and being such a controlling beast, the poor boy won't have a chance.
26I love Madonna and I feel like she is a genuinely good person. Her kids seem to be normal, well educated, well adjusted children so I think that she did the right thing by adopting David. Her and Guy were trying to have a child for a couple of years without suscess so I think that it is very kind of her to open her home to a less fortunate child. The whole Malawi adoption process takes a year before she can offically adopt him, thats so they can make sure that he is a good fit for the family and that she is doing the right thing for David. I love those sunglasses and I kick myself in the A** whenever I see her wearing them cuz I had them in my hand and didnt buy them. Ugh.

28her kids seem fine, she doesn't tote them around like fashion accessories. she actually keeps them out of the limelight as much as she can...i don't think i could recognize her son and daughter.
i thought the adoption process was complete. this has to be one of the most f*cked up adoptions ever.
