Adam Sandler kept it casual on his way into Late Night with David Letterman yesterday afternoon. He was accompanied by his amazingly adorable snort factory, Matzoh Ball, who acted as Adam's cohost on the show when he was filling in for Dave a few months back. Last night Adam was back in the guest seat talking about his new movie I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, which I caught a screening of last night. I'll reserve my thoughts for my review on Buzz this Friday, but I will say that despite my love for Adam I was pretty wary going into the theater. What do you think, does Chuck & Larry strike you as offensive?

LOL!!! He always looks lost.
I love Adam, he is such a funny guy (omg while i am typing this comment, the preview for his new movie came on...weird!) and I really want to see I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.
Not to be a total poo-on-the-parade but exposing gay marriages as comedic gold is a bit insulting. I am completely supportive of gay marriages and I don't think I'm being too sensitive in saying that using gay marriage as a prop for getting laughs is totally unnecessary.
I looooooooove Adam - Hilarious Hilarious!! Can't wait to see the movie..!!!
There are plenty of comedies that use everyday life events to get laughs.....I dont see this movie being any different from other comedies even if it exposes gay marriage as comedic gold. I am supportive of gay marriage as well because I believe they should be able marry, its their lives not anyone elses so who cares if they are gay.
Scarlet, I am with you. I guess I would have to see the movie, but I have know someone who missed the last hours of their partner's life because they weren't married (the family who deserted their gay son 15 years earlier wouldn't allow his partner into the hospital room). They were a couple for more than 10 years, and it is really just a very serious thing when people are denied equal rights.
I don't know if they made comedies about Jim Crow laws before they were declared illegal. There is probably a reason.
all the reviews i've seen for this say that it's tasteless, offensive, and not even funny. there is no way i'll see it.
not offensive, just stupid. adam hasn't done a funny movie in a LONG time, which is too bad
I love me some Adam but I love English Bulldogs more!!!!
HE JUST LOOKS LIKE A FUNNY DUDE.
I think he's gotten hotter with age. Mmm, a fine wine Sandler is.
What a babe! Wish he was mine. Hotness and Humor, what better?
I love Adam, he's so funny!
cant wait 2 see it
ugh, i'm apprehensive about the movie. i'm waiting to see some more reviews . . . the previews definitely turned me off so far, which is too bad b/c i love adam sandler. i just can't sit through a movie that relies on gay jokes . . . here's hoping it isn't as offensive as it seems so far . . .

I don't like his goatee... but I still wanna watch the movie
Adam's hilarious.
I don't find it offensive at all, its meant to be a bit of fun.
Yeah the goatee throws me off, but damn I still love Adam. The movie looks really great...going to see it with my gals next week!
did he lose some weight?
Does anyone read Pink is the New Blog? Trent was mentioning something about being mildly insulted... I hadn't thought of that until then, and now you Scarlet. I guess it really does suck to use it as a commodity instead of as a serious political issue. Blah.
In other news:
I LOVE MEATBALL.
I thought Matz Ball died, did anyone here that too?
I don't think I could comment on its alleged offensiveness without actually seeing it first. But I do think maybe people need to relax a little, its a movie, that's all. Political correctness is going to suck all the humor out of this country. You don't like it? Don't watch it!
no, flyowsley. I thought I heard that too. No idea though.
i
hahahah i love this guy. im pretty proud of the fact that i can recite both the wedding singer and big daddy scripts from start to finish!
Meatball is the one that died.
comedy should be offensive. Adam sandler is always funny and most of the time Kevin James is too. I will definitely go see it.
I'm not sure why this movie would be offensive. What's the difference btwn this and a show like Will & Grace? Just asking, bc I think I'm missing something?
