It was another star-studded evening celebrating Inglourious Basterds at a screening in NYC last night. Quentin Tarantino and the movie's stars — minus Brad Pitt, who is apparently back in France with his family — gathered with some celebrity friends at the Cinema Society event. Lindsay Lohan, who has been working with Quentin's friend Robert Rodriguez on Machete, hit the red carpet, as did Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford and Sebastian Stan. Diane Kruger was once again one of the boys with the mostly male cast. This weekend's NY Times put a lot of pressure on this movie to help salvage the reputation of the Weinstein Company and this weekend we'll see if all the promotion from Diane, Brad, Eli, BJ, Quentin and more is enough to lure people out to see the ambitious film.

huh - i didn't realize that LL was out this way - but it's nice to see her at an event. i wonder if she's done working on machete.
as for IB - i am actually looking forward to the movie - so we'll see how it does - i'm sure it'll do really well. Diane looks great as always, and what a shame that brad wasn't there.

5agreed tiabia! lindsay lohan looks absolutely awful in these pics and is quite an embarassment next to the more beautiful show-goers.
6It is sad because for some reason I still root for LL--but when you put her side-by-side with someone like Diane you'd never know Kruger has ten years on her.
I love the details on the back of Diane's dress but haven't found a good photo of it yet.

i think Emmanuelle and Emma look great...i love blazers and jeans, but 1. its August in NY and 2. seems a little casual for a NY movie premier. plus, i think E's fly is down...oops!!!!
10I keep thinking Lindsay will be alright soon but the more I see of her lately, the more sad it makes me!! She is, what, 23? Diane Kruger is in her mid-30s and looks far younger than LL!! Fresher and more alive!! And far more beautiful!! Take note, Emma Roberts!!
11LL actually seemed to have talent when she started out, but her poor lifestyle choices have eclipsed that. I am so sick of seeing her that I don't even bother to click on the threads about her. It's just her slow motion downward spiral.
