As a fitting finale (hopefully) to their lengthy series of premieres, the young half of the cast of Hairspray spent Wednesday night celebrating in Baltimore, the city that inspired the original John Waters film back in 1988. The awesome Waters himself was there and looked happy to be on the red carpet in his lime green pants. Amanda, Zac, Nikki & Elijah were even gracious enough to show off some moves at the after party. Marsden, on the other hand, just continued to look dreamy. After this lengthy lead up full of fresh faced youngins (and even more fresh faced Pfeiffer), I bet at least some of you are super excited that it's finally out today! 1is it me? or does it seem like in every picture I see of Zac Efron he uses 3 face expressions?

That's John Waters in the yellow pants, he's the writer and director of the original Hairspray and played Dr. Frederickson in the original. He's kooky, but brilliant...I love him. He also made Cry-Baby with Ricky Lake and Johnny Depp and Cecil B. Demented, etc.
He also worked as writer and producer for this new version of Hairspray so maybe it won't be that bad.
12ok, i know that Zach is all the rage with the young girls these days, but usually, he just looks a little creepy to me. hwoever, loving the fact that james marsden is back on the big screen. he is a hottie! and i actually do want to see this movie.
