We're big fans of the fabulous Heidi Klum and Project Runway, so we were psyched to hear that the show was nominated for an Emmy for the 3rd year in a row. We're sure Ms. Klum will look stunning on the red carpet in September, but she assures us that she won't be sporting any designs from a former PR winner, saying,
“The very first time I got nominated, I asked the winner of the first season, Jay McCarroll, to design something. He had all these great ideas, and then designed something that was absolutely not appropriate. It was not an evening-red carpet thing for the Emmys—it was like an MTV/Halloween costume!"
Yikes. I wonder how Jay feels about that comment. We all know that Heidi looks amazing even in a Halloween costume, but maybe not for the big awards show! They have tough competition with American Idol and Amazing Race but we think Project Runway deserves to win this year. Good Luck!

6It doesn't do much for the credibility of the show for her to say she'd never wear a winner's design on the red carpet again. Even if it was a burlap sack I'm sure she looked amazing in it. It would be good for the show if she was photographed wearing more of the designs.
I love PR and LOVED Michael Knight last year. He was just so adorable. Heidi should have worn his coffee filter dress!

10i loved jay on his special! and heidi was absolutely horrible to him, backing out of wearing his design. she lost me forever, i'll never be a fan.

16Jay's dress was gorgeous and it was totally rude of Heidi to back out at the last minute. The dress she ended up wearing was boring. I like her, but just a little less after that, and now this comment...

20I didn't like what I saw in the Jay special, but I thought well, things can be skewed... but now that she said this, I think it's a rude, I've always rooted for Jay to succeed, and it makes Heidi less credible on the show. If she won't wear the designs and she chooses the winner? What does that say?
