Marie Antoinette was booed at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, but Kirsten Dunst says she gets it and didn't let it bother her. Kirsten's laid-back attitude is just part of what makes her so loveable. She just seem like such a normal, down-to-earth kind of girl. She said, "I didn't take it to heart. How would we feel about the French doing a movie about George Washington with French actors?"

13she doesn't even bother with an accent in the movie..some actors accent some not.. then they used a current soundtrack even for moments when she is dancing in balls and such. So its a little too avant-garde for some audiences.

19I actually like her, I think she is one of those people that know exactly what her job is. She is an actress, the real defintion of one. Today, actrss is a label that any idiot can obtain, but Kirsten is the real deal. I also think Sofia Coppola knows a good starlet when she sees one.

37I'm looking forward to see 'Marie Antoinette.' The cinematography looks beautiful from what I've seen in the trailers. I hope since people have said it's a modern twist on her life - that it won't be stuffy and boring.
Kirsten can be a very good actor. And I've just learned about Marie Antoinette recently so I'm so excited. Thanks PBS!
38Sorry to disappoint u goodgirl,but kirsten may be in other filmings a good actor but in 'marie-antoinette' she's just horrible,she plays her own character with a lack of passion,sensibility & presence..This movie was horrid,the adaptation of the life of marie-antoinette was so far from historic facts..It was slow,with no meaning & totally awkward!!
