Not suprised. Jail isn't the answer for her although she's making it hard for them not to put her there.... she needs hardcore, i.e. 'real' rehab.

I'm suprised it happened so soon. I didn't think she was going to stay good for long since the day after she left rehab she was in Vegas, but I didn't think she would be popped for a DUI and back in rehab 11 days after getting out of rehab and a few days after being formally charged for the first DUI.

I will admit, I had high hopes. This girl is so lost and I feel bad for her. I am to the point where i think her dad might just be good for her and her mom needs to take a hike.

I sort of was holing a little hope that the poor girl was trying to clean up her act. I'm not at all surprised that it happened, but yes that it happened so soon. I feel badly for her. Unlike Paris or Brittney I think Lindsay is really battling some bad demons here and needs help. I don't see why everyone is so excited and saying she got what she deserved. She's an addict and things can't just change over night for an addict.

I had hope for Lindsay since she's so young and actually a talented actress... when she wants to be. It seems like now it's a competition between Lindsay and Britney... who's a bigger train wreck/who can screw their career up faster!

Has anyone ever seen the A&E show (I think..) Intervention? All these kids think rehab is like a vacation. They don't get it. Most people who have been through AA and real rehab have to change their WHOLE LIVES to stay sober. They don't change anything at all.

I don't know that her career is totally over. I think she'd have to work exceptionally hard to get it back. But I think Drew Barrymore is a prime example of how to move beyond it, clean up, and have a successful career. Assuming, of course, you want it.

no suprise here, most ppl should have seen this coming, no one who intends to stop drink/drug heads to las vegas as soon as they leave rehab, that's like saying yeah i'm on a diet while ordering from mac'd, it does not make any sense, i'm suprised it did not happen sooner actually.

She does deserve to go to jail though, drunk driving isn't cool at all she could have hurt someone. If she was a young poor kid she would get locked up, so while I do think she needs help she should get the same treatment anyone else would get.

I absolutely agree that she needs to go to jail. Rehab as well, but she shouldn't get out of jail time just because she has an addiction. Other people don't.

In my opinion she had no problem wearing that alcohol detecting bracelet thingy because she had plans to do other things such as coke... she probably figured she could stay off the drinks for a while, to atleast prove her "sobriety"... and still dable in other things. It sounds harsh, but she couldn't even do that right... which makes me believe 1. she's an addict and 2. she needs new friends.

She definetly needs to go to jail. This is her SECOND DUI in less than three months. The fact that she actually did go to rehab for 6 weeks makes this whole thing seem worse to me.

ok so it's 3 years max for possesion of cocaine,how long is it for dui and leaving the scene of an accident?, cause so far she's on six years max. i think 6 years should be enough to save her fom herself.
