The cast of Gossip Girl braved the hot weather in NYC this morning in gowns and suits. Penn Badgley was out to film with Hilary Duff, who was up and on set despite her night at the Britney Spears concert. Leighton Meester and Jessica Szohr looked gorgeous in their dresses, while Ed Westwick was also decked out. Chuck Bass appears geared to kick off the season romancing Leighton's Blair, but apparently his love life might take a same-sex turn.

HECK YES! I was very sad the TV character wasn't bi like in the books. This is better than nothing.

3i agree with whoever made the anonymous comment. i love the dress that jessica is wearing...it is beautiful, but the hair & makeup make her look like a man. she should be brown bagged.

6Hilary isn't staying for the entire season, is she? I wish she'd just go away. And they need to stop putting her in tight dresses. She's not fat, but she's not thin either. She'd look better in looser fitting clothes.
Jessica's dress looked WAY better when Olivia Wilde wore it. It's a gorgeous dress, but it looks horrible on her. And she does look like a man in drag. The hair and makeup look terrible. Ew. I wish she'd go away too. Vanessa is completely useless.
Leighton looks great though. Love her.
