Rihanna brought out her new funky fringe yesterday to attend a business meeting in NYC. On the opposite coast, Chris Brown was in LA being sentenced for the assault he committed back in February — ICYMI, check out the terms of his deal. Along with the news of his probation, community service and rules on staying away from Rih, some disturbing new facts about prior incidents in their relationship have emerged. Now that he's officially received word from the judge, hopefully Rih can fully focus on the future, which includes her upcoming appearance on Jay Leno's new show.

Bummer to hear that there was history of violence perpetuated by both sides. Sounds like a fiery, tempestuous relationship marked by immaturity. Hopefully, she can grow up and out of her attraction to the drama.
1People are fools if they think her and Chris ae over and they aren't in touch/hooking up behind the scenes
2I kind of hope you are right Missyd, since he can't have any contact with Rihanna, even on the phone or through a 3rd person. He must stay 100 yards away from her, unless there's an entertainment-related event, in which he must stay 10 yards away. The protective order lasts 5 years.
If he violates that, the judge will revoke his probation and send him to jail for the remainder of the 5 year probation term. Rhianna doesn't get a vote in that. After reading the details of the very long and bloody attack he did on her, I think he should do time. The details are a lot worse than the original reports suggested.
3I agree with Ginger. I read it on TMZ and it´s scary what he did to her. There's no excuse for that.
4No excuse for violently slapping or hitting on either side. (Although, his beating on her was far, far worse in every way than her slapping him.) The fact that they are probably in touch/hooking up behind the scenes is a recipe for disaster for his sentence with regard to the fact that these seem to have a history of drama and attraction to the disfunction of it all. (Unfortunately, Rihanna incluced.) If these two get into it down the line, will she threaten to report him to the judge so as to land him in jail? Sounds like they both should have been under order to stay away from each other if only to force them both to move on from this dramatic relationship.
5These two need to stay the hell away from each other. For her, personally -- and for him, professionally.
6A man is much stronger than a women and has no business putting his hands on her regardless. You never saw him with his face disfigured. Anyways, great for Rihanna, now she can move forward with her life and concentrate on her career.
7She has such a cute figure!
8In the details of the police report that have been published since yesterday, there is no mention that she slapped or hit him at any time that night. She is said to have pounded her fists on the dashboard of the car.
That report is so horrific that I'd be willing to loan him my cell phone or drive him to her house if it helped get him locked up. He has gotten off very easy. It was much more than a couple of punches and black eyes. I'd be pretty dismayed to see anyone else who has actually read that report come back and try to defend or justify his actions.
9Yes Ginger I hope that is true as well, and he violates the orders and gets something much, much worse since that's what should have happened in the first place
10Ginger, it has been widely reported since yesterday about the "history of violence" between the two including an altercation where she slapped him. This does not excuse his behavior, make his behavior acceptable, or entitle him to lay his hands on her in any way. However, you are erroneous in that she has slapped him.
11"A man is much stronger than a women and has no business putting his hands on her regardless. You never saw him with his face disfigured."
Huh? What that does that matter? Neither one should be doing anything to each other, regardless of gender.
12You go girl! I love Rihanna! Glad she's away from this fool.
13toxic relationship
14Is she wearing a sports bra??
15No, but a man shouldn't put his hands on a woman regardless, I'm sorry, there's nothing to argue about when it comes to that.
16Not arguing that a man shouldn't put his hands on a woman. It's unacceptable and there's never a reasonable justification. However, the rule applies both ways. Not just man to woman.
17However, you are erroneous in that she has slapped him.
Those were episodes months earlier. As I said above, there is nothing in the report that she hit or slapped him on the night in February when he beat and strangled her. In legal jargon, it was an unprovoked attack.
18Ginger, I am in no way suggesting that she provoked or deserved what he did to her. And I agree with you that he belongs in prison. However, in my #5 response I did not say that she slapped him on that night either. You seem to have grossly misinterpreted me saying that it's not acceptable for her to slap him or anyone else as me saying it is a defense or justification for his behavior on the night he was arrested. I never said or implied that. And I don't believe it either.
19her outfit reminds me of aladdin
