and about scarlett- yes I think she is conceited, what with always telling interviewers how great she looks, but I personally think that her getting her septum pierced is edgy and unique. She's definitley not your average hollywood (st)HARLOT, and I think the piercing is just fine.

Good for her. I think she's beautiful. I don't think it's really for anyone to say if she's ugly because she has a nose ring, her hair is too blonde, etc. I mean beauty is varied and everyone has different looks. What? We're all supposed to look like one person? Who is to say what is perfect and beautiful? I know that's why we're supposed to do on these boards but I just find it unsettling when people rip apart a person they don't even know based on how they look on a movie set or walking down the street. Just my opinion.

I have no problem with the nose ring, though. I have a nose stud. I'd never wear the bull ring, but I don't think it's hugely unattractive. And my kids have grabbed the stud and pulled, so it's not just a bull ring that'll cause pain.

I don't see how being creative is getting piercing that lots of other people have. It's like getting a tattoo...after a while, do those really mean anything if someone else has the exact same thing? (Not hatin' on tattoos, I love them, but I do know people who have gotten identical ones. I know it's hard to come up with original ideas sometimes, but that's just not that creative, in my opinion).
