It was exciting enough to finally see Robert Pattinson arriving on the set of Eclipse yesterday in Vancouver, but even better — a few hours later he stepped out of his trailer as Edward Cullen! It's only been a few months since they wrapped up work on New Moon, but it already feels like forever since the Twilight star was all made up as a vampire in love. It's no surprise that he made it to the final two of our shirtless bracket this year, and he currently has the lead over Kellan Lutz — check out a slideshow of their ab-baring accomplishments. With Edward on set, his Bella shouldn't be too far behind, so fingers crossed we soon have some Kristen Stewart to add to our already fantastic Robert Pattinson Friday manjoyment.

'Edward' would never wear that. So they aren't sticking to this book either. The kids will be disappointed.
1um...in the first movie he was wearing something VERY similar in several scenes - so he WOULD wear that. i'm excited that they are finally ready to start filming. i've been wondering how much longer we'd just see everyone hanging around vancouver

3Sorry. Did you see Twilight? Did you read the book? He never wore jean jackets. He wore peacoats and parkas. The James Dean look is not 100 yr old Edward. The tshirt and jeans he wore in the hallway scene. But the Edward of the book wouldn't have dressed like that either.

9Wow the arguing over what Edward would wear is pretty funny. Attention people you don't know Edward, and unfortunately he is a FICTIONAL character. I love and read all the books, but some people really can't seem to separate fiction from reality.

the books dont say what edward is wearing everywhere. and of course he wears something for a 100 years old man who is pretending be a 17 years boy, so I dont know if the edwar of the books would wear this outfit, what I'm sure about is that he wouldnt wear that oldly man suits he had to wear for NM....

anyway, i did see the movie, many many times - and i'm not going to debate wardrobe. he's still the same hot brooding vampire guy to me - and i love it!

15His face is fuller then in Twilight, these photos give the impression he has gained weight on his face. I hope he can keep the Edward look consistent, the Twilight Edward had very strong lines in his face. If Rob gains too much weight on his face, with thei make-up I worry he'll come off looking too "drag" in the third film. I have some concern he might.

18Ok... This is kind of random, BUT last night I had a dream that I was the queen of England AND that RPattz had a crush on me. Pretty funny considering I am 26, and not a 14 yo Twilight fan. Haven't even seen the movies!

who cares what he wears, not like you all paid attention in the first film, it's just because
the magnitude of the film has grown since the first release. Geez people. He looks great in whatever he wears. May I also remind you that the book is now a film too. They have to make changes
and Stephanie has said so herself that she hopes some things will be changed to make the film the best it can be. Why argue over something little? Can we now all get along in peace, afterall
we are all here to drool over this undescribingly beautiful man in the photos?
