Jennifer showed off a touch of skin in NYC with Marc while the two continue to promote El Cantante. These two obviously love working together and it was just announced that during their upcoming tour one dollar for every ticket sold will be donated to help fight childhood obesity. Jennifer said in a Press Release, "When I was a kid, we spent most of our time outside visiting in the neighborhood with friends. This is the first generation of kids who are so sedentary and the first whose parents might outlive them. We really need to be active in encouraging healthy eating and the joys and fun of exercising." It sounds like she and Shaq have something in common.

Wow. I have to agree...When I was a kid - we were all out rollerskating, riding bikes around the neighborhood, etc. It does seem like the kids nowadays sit their happy butts in front of their Playstations. (but) The parents allow their kids to do it. They buy the systems and the games...but geez - it's out of hand.
1true true J.Lo..
I think she should run a dance camp! I'll go to it too!
2I think she definitely has a point...obeisty is a problem..esp. for kids. I don't particularly like her outfit.
3damn slena rose from the dead oh no its jenn lopez, lmao, my son goes out to play as much as possible or to parks things that are going to keep him active, i think brits kids are going to be obese so mean i know
4Obesity is a terrible problem. This morning I saw a child walking in the park, he looked to be about 11 or 12, and appeared to weigh around 300 lbs...SADNESS!!! At least he was making slow progress.
PS: Jennifer Lopez's jeans are horrendous, and as bad as childhood obesity is, male anorexia is also problematic...she needs to feed her husband!!!
5Pink, I do see them being obese, but maybe Federline will have them dancing away the pounds!!!!
6ha ha tibia dancing to his rap music, lmfao
7Seriously, she's donating a dollar for every ticket to childhood obesity? Why doesn't she donate a dollar towards kids who are STARVING to death instead of kids who are eating themselves to death?
8Pretty nice! She looks great!
9Not a fan of JLo's outfit.
LOL tiabia - male anorexia!! I always refer to him as Skelator!
10lol tiabia & pinkprincess ..the kids will be dancing to K Fed's song "Popozao"..
11oh
against male anorexia..
12"we need to fight obesity" said the woman who has two chefs, her own gym, a personal trainer and a plastic surgeon on speed dial.
13I LOVE HER!!! And yes this is a VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE THAT SHE IS SENDING!!! Over 60% of American children are OBESE, not overweight OBESE!!! THAT IS SICK!!! Anyone who allows their child to become overweight should be charged with child abuse. There are days on end where I DO NOT see 1 child of normal build, its rather disturbing and disgusting. It is NOT NORMAL for kids to be inside on the damn computer all day long, playing video games and whatnot. Kids should be healthy and active and as parents it is YOUR job to make sure that happens. By feeding you child over processed crap and allowing them to be couch potatoes you are only shortening their life span and leading them into a life of laziness and obesity. Maybe if more parents were not overweight their children wouldnt think that it is OK, cuz its not. Juvenile diabetes is at an all time high and if you don't know that leads to diabetes in adulthood which leads to MANY health problems then eventually death. THIS IS AN EPIDEMIC PEOPLE AND IT WILL NOT GO AWAY UNTIL PARENTS PLAY THEIR PART. Be better role models for your children, if I train 1 more 200 lb teenage girl I am going to scream. ITS. NOT. RIGHT.
14good message.
but HORRIBLE jeans!!!!
15Her ass is too big for those pants.
16Her ass is too big? WTF? Seriously? She is like a size 4 thats not too big for anything. If you look like Nicole Richie your too skinny but if you look lie J.LO your too fat. No wonder society is f*cked up, 90% of the woman on this board would kill to have her 'fat' size 4 boday. Sick.
17wierdest couple ever...there, i said it
18How big of them...
19this is an admirable cause, while they are weirdos, it is a CRITICAL epidemic in our country! bravo!
20well written notorious!
21J Lo is a woman with curves & she loves her curves..so I applaud that..
22J. Lo I love you!
23I agree with what J.LO said. My mom always encouraged us to go outside and play. But I really don't like Jennifer's top....the too short top with the higher waisted pants isn't cute!!!!
24tickledpink I ♥ your avi!
25Go Jen
26go back to ben j-lo
27Great cause. Seriously I've never seen so many overweight kids in my life. It's sad
28There was a boy in my son's kindergarten class whose Mom would bring him Mickey D's for lunch EVERY day. It's terrible how parents can neglect their kids' health like that.
29good for them.
30I dont see anything wrong with supporting this cause. It is a grave concern in the North America now...fat kids turn into fat adults that deplete health care services.
The real horror here is those high rise jeans. Like any trend, they should not be worn by any body type. To pull off most blink and you miss it trends, you usually need a tall, slim physique.
31she looks like a major hoochie in this outfit
32She looks so cute but she must be sooooo hot.
33You know child obesity is a big deal.
I used to volunteer for an after school program that was subsidized by fast food corporations like Chick Fil-A and Pizza Hut. The kids were constantly fed fast food and rewarded with insane amounts of candy. One girl was so obese I felt so guilty giving her candy rewards. So much so that I informed the program head and dropped out on principle. It was crazy!
A lot of schools are the same way, subsidized by fast food, or at least their lunch programs. I remember them serving Pizza Hut pizza for lunch everyday. It was pathetic. No wonder kids are so overweight.
I applaud what J.Lo is doing, but I also don't dig her jeans.
34Very good case, great work Jennifer!
35notoriousrem and lula29 - I agree with you 100%!!!
36notoriousrem_22, you have a good point! One day you will be a good mother!
37WAY TO GO JENNIFER! I can't even begin to express my appreciation for this, it a huge problem and those children need help.
38So glad to see another celebrity putting their efforts into childhood obesity. When I see the obese kids in my community, all I can think about are the numerous health problems they are headed towards. Good for Jennifer & Marc! I hope it's a successful venture.
That being said, I normally love what Jennifer Lopez wears, but this outfit is odd. I had to do a double-take, because I thought the jeans were those "mom-jeans" at first. The color of the shirt is kind of dull & she needs just a little bit of color on her lips.
I tried some of those type sunglasses (the big type) on while shopping this weekend. The girls that were with me all made fun of me!
39Miss bling bling is back..LOL. I love J.Lo's attitude. Fiesty and bossy but really honest (as much as she can be these days). Glad the bennifer is over.
40Notorious, you're so right, if parents allow their children to become obese it should be considered child abuse and social services should have the right to intervene and make sure the child is fed properly and made to exercise.
There was a show on UK tv a while back called Jamie's School Dinners where this tv chef (Jamie Oliver) went into a school as the new cook and did away with all the fattening, processed crap they feed kids each day for their lunches and replaced it with freshly prepared, healthy, tasty, nutritionally balanced food on the same budget that the school had been spending on frozen chicken nuggets and chips and pizza slices etc, and the results were amazing. Obviously it took the kids a while to get used to it but once they did most of them were more than happy to eat it, and not only did they all have more energy but the teachers noticed they were far more alert in the afternoon classes, and that troublesome students had calmed down completely even to the point where students on medication for ADD were able to come off the medication. And in the midst of this there were parents complaining about what he was doing, saying the kids were only eating the good food because they were starving and they should let them eat what they want, and even bringing the kids Happy Meals at lunch time and pushing them through the railings!! I mean, jesus, you don't WANT your child to be happy and healthy and learning better and have more energy?? What the hell is wrong with these people??
41It's all set up anyways. School food is horrendous so kids go out to eat or buy stuff from the snack bar--and guess who benefits from the snack bar? Sports programs--programs you can't participate in if you have bad grades or aren't even good at it.
42You can criticize JLO all you want, but at least she is putting her money where her mouth is, literally. She could possibly spearhead a campaign for raising awareness concerning childhood obesity. It all has to start with somebody. Remember baby steps!
43i agree with scottdavis, people may hate her but at least she's trying to do something good
