Yesterday kicked off the ABC TCAs and although we have to wait until the end of November to check out Cashmere Mafia, the network has plenty of other new shows that are bound to be big hits. Pushing Daisies might be my favorite new show this season (sorry Chuck). The fairy tale-like show is brought to us by Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black) and Bryan Fuller (Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls). The show is so beautiful to watch I could not take my eyes off the screen. Lee Pace is the adorable main character that can bring people back to life by touching them, but he can kill them just as quickly with a second touch. He resurrects his childhood sweetheart and the two have this untouchable (literally) loving romance. It's so sweet and only was a small part of such an entertaining show. Click here to watch a clip and be mesmerized by the beauty.

The Women's Murder Club based on the popular James Patterson books is another show with a beautiful foursome but this time they're solving crimes in SF. I am not normally into formulaic cop-like shows but this one was very entertaining and everything about Angie Harmon is gorgeous, especially the way she talks about her family. She said:
"My husband is the most brilliant father on the planet... I actually have him more now at home than I did when he was playing....it's just all worked out really, really beautifully. The whole show coming into my life, and I know that my time with my girls is going to be fine and my husband is great, and he's happy with is job and where he is. So my family is in a really good place right now. I'm really thankful to be here."
She spoke really passionately about her new role and her home life so now I am a huge fan. Oh and did I mention Joe Simpson is an executive producer on the show? Well he is and he was asked if his daughters will guest star. Make sure to check out his response so read more
Joe's response to if his famous daughters will guest star was, "It's not in the plan, but you never know what tomorrow holds. That's not how we ever started this show, with the girls in mind at all so -- but I would never say never because the girls like to be where things are successful. So if we were asked, we will see." It would certainly be an interesting role for Jess or Ashlee.

Well if Joe Pimpson is the producer of the show, people can expect alot of zooming in and zooming out of the actresses' breast.
1Haha Pimpson. You crack me up.
2i am intrigued by the pushing daisies show as well.
3Wow, this is why I always get so excited about new fall TV shows!
4Angie Harmon is way hot.
5Angie Harmon is gorgeous... but does she remind anyone else of skeletor?
Ok that was mean of me to say...

7I LOVE Lee Pace! He was fantastic on "Wonderfalls".
8can wait to check these shows out!
9A Simpson associated with something that might be good? That's a headspin. Must say though, I'm enjoying the elder skank's absense, though I know she'll be back and begging the paps to photograph her chest soon enough.
10eeew Papa Joe *shudder*
11Im looking forward to these new shows.
12Oh, and "the girls like to be where things are successful," yeh and then they poison it.
13Would not watch anything produced by

I was thinking the show might be good, but knowing Pimp Daddy is the producer kind of ruined it just there.
The Pushing Daisies sounds good too.
16I liked Michael Ausiello from TV Guide's take on Joe Simpson producing: who does he have naked pictures of? After wondering if he read it wrong.
17joe simpson is just a douche.
18ugh papa joe is a freak.
19I want to watch Pushing Daisies.
20Smile Kristin.
21angie harmon is beautiful and her hubby is HOT!
22i love angie! she is from dallas, and actually went to my high school. she got her start winning the Seventeen Magazine cover model contest when she was 15
23Angie Harmon is so beautiful.
24Angie is hot hot hot but yeah a few pounds wouldn't kill her.
25I loooooovvvvvve the James Patterson Murder Club books. I hope the TV series does right by it. I am so excited
26anything that involves papa joe is lame.
27Lee Pace is amazing...it's awesome to see him in something new. I can't wait for that show!
28I love the idea of the Women's Murder Club. I read nearly all the books. If I'm not mistaken, Tracey Pollen (sp?-Michael J. Fox's wife) already did a movie of the first book. This was a few years ago. It was a made-for-tv movie. I hope this series stays true to the books too!
29Pushing Daisies looks really good, but it looks like the dude got super inspired by Big Fish and ripped off Tim Burton's cinematography and designs. Big Fish is kinda sacred to me for some reason(sentimental issues-movie hit me real hard for some reason, also saw it for first time about 2 weeks after my mother died and stuff just fit the plot for me..) so anyone going near it in style gets "growled" at, so to speak...though the plot looks good. I might check it out...even if I dont, It's refreshing to have something like this on tv. The law shows, forensic shows, reality, teen drama, soap opera style bs is reaaaaally starting to burn out for me..sick of hearing about the same stuff for the past 3 years..
30Really? I went to a focus group for Pushing Daisies, and unless they have made some revisions after getting audience feedback, I didn't enjoy it at all. It felt more like a one-time movie than something I'd tune in to every week. And I usually like innovative stuff like that.
31joe simpson is gross
32Angie looks gorgeous.
33I'm just waiting for Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty to return. I goin to wash Pushing Daisies and Women's Murder Club. OOO and Kate Walsh's new show, Private Practice
