Ms. Money, Mindy used to be a country music singer...a while ago... now she's just famous for getting arrested!

I fel like Oprah lost her way with that show a long while back. I watch it now and I'm like I'm too young to be watching this crap and if i see one more this show could save your life I am going to lose it.

I like Kathy. I think she'd be a great host on The View, even though I never watch the show.

Good for Oprah, she totally deserves it! She's worked hard, and given back.
And I like the idea of having Whoopi and Kathy on the view.

It's so sad that a lot of those people make more in one episode than most people make in a year....I wish, haha!

I'm not an Oprah fan at.all. She is too self-absorbed period. Just a lot of loose skin. She makes gazillions of money a year and gives teeny tiny amounts to things that only promote her. Like I said, I'm not a fan.

i used to like Oprah , but now i think she`s just so Prejudice, i hardly watch her show ,but you can tell by watching one or two of them .

Cinnamon I feel you,if she feels you are in the wrong she just cuts you off and doesn't give you a chnace to speak. I remember the last time we watched Oprah we counted the number of times she actually let the personfinish their sentence and she's a hypocrite of the first order. She's talking about how the n word should stop being used in hip hop and she ragged on Ludacris about it but there she is talking about going shopping with Diddy as if he's any bettter.

None of the Grey's stars should be on the list. That show has gone down significantly, especially in regards to writing. Ellen and TR are mediocre actors at best as is Zach Braff. 2 1/2 men is crap so Charlie is overpaid. Didn't Julia's show get canceled? Is Judge Judy that popular?! That seems like waaay too much for what she does. Bill Petersen is so-so. Also overpaid. Eva is definitely overpaid. WTF!?!

Mariska and Chris Meloni totally deserve it as does Hugh. Simon does too. The show brings in a lot and he is very involved in it. Kyra's salary is more than I expected, but she so deserves it.

Sally Field should probably make more, but maybe that show just isn't popular.

Nyara, your'e saying how Oprah cuts people off and is egotistical. Although I agree with you on some points...gurl, have you seen the Tyra show? Tyra is soooo much worse than Oprah. In nearly every episode, she has to rub in the audience faces how she broke the mold for black models, her sports illustrated cover was awesome,blah,blah,blah. I will pick Oprah over Tyra ANY day.

Oprah only gives "teeny tiny" amounts away? The woman has donated and helped raise MILLIONS of dollars over the years. And how is opening a school in South Africa, helping Katrina survivors, helping send over 200 men to college, raising 50+ million in her Angel Network only promoting her? These days it seems like your damned if you do, damned if you don't. I think it's fine if people personally do not like Oprah's show, but to rag on her philanthropy sucks in my opinion.

I lived in Chicago in the early 80's when nobody knew who Oprah was...and I mean nobody. She had her first local show. She was grossly morbidly obese, her teeth were jacked up, wigs...she looked like a 50 year old woman back then. She made it big. I say big deal. She is still that insecure fat lady, not saying she doesn't have a brain or a heart but she cares mostly about Oprah. Watch her blow up again, weight-wise. Honestly, I don't see her as truly happy inside. I just don't.

ashkell, perhaps but it is other people's money she is raising. Compared to her income, what she personally gives out of her pocket is nothing compared to what she could give. Not saying that fundraising for good causes is bad because it isn't. I'm saying she could give a whole lot more out of her pocket. She makes crazy insane amounts of money. That is my point. Plus the fact that I can't stand her.

oh no ain't no problem tatti. I was just pointing out how it seems like she's helping in Africa when it's oonly one country and the most developed on is AFrica at that lol. And I don't watch any talk show, they are just the same recycled load of crap about how we can make our lives better.

I don't watch oprah either..actually I only watch Spanish talk shows..and those are super drama..i feel like I'm watching Jerry Springer that always gives me a good laugh..

Yes, she is a billionaire. But how much do you think she should give in order to satisfy people? Compared to other billionaires and extremely wealthy (ie CEO's of fortune 500's,celebrities) people in this country - - she gives a lot more than them.

as for the school in Africa. I doubt she is done building schools. she went over to one country in africa and gave the kids money, school clothes, food for month and plenty of other stuff. you people are acting like she needs to rescue the whole damn world. she is only one person. one thing at a time people.

Ashkell, why not start where Angelina gives....1/3 of her salary. Or perhaps Bill Gates who gives tons more then Oprah. In fact, the majority of his estate, upon his death, goes to charity. also, no one ever talks about bob johnson. the man who founded BET. i NEVER hear anything about him being charitable. he might be but i hear nothing about it. it's only a big deal cause it's oprah and bob johnson is not as famous as she. and she's also a woman and women tend to get super jealous of other women who are more successful than they are.
