Rachel McAdams practices what she preaches. Not only does she have an adorable environmental activism website with her friends, but she's committed to her bike riding through and through. Rachel is at home in Canada rocking out to her iPod, but pretty soon she'll be back on set alongside Eric Bana for The Time Traveler's Wife, a book that is near and dear to many people's hearts (including my own). McAdams is wearing a ring on that ring finger, though I do doubt it means anything since I've accepted that she and Ryan broke up months ago. I'm not holding my breath for that reunion anytime soon, but I am excited to see Rachel back on the big screen this winter.

24Aww I miss her too. Why did they break up anyway? They just seemed like such a perfect fit.
I commute by bike and while there is no law on wearing a helmet, if you get hurt and you do NOT have one one, most insurance companies won't cover.

I'm glad I'm not the only one concerned with her safety! I feel like her mom saying this, but Rachel, a massive head injury will muss your hair a lot more than wearing a helmet. Those earbuds are just making things worse, too.

30I really can't imagine not wearing a bike helmet. My husband bikes regularly for his training, and he's had more than one accident that would've resulted in some serious damn injuries without a helmet.
Especially when headphones block out the sounds around you.
But anywho. Still love Rachel. Just wear a helmet.

39I just finished reading THE TIME TRAVELLER'S WIFE and really, really liked it! I was (just this morning)thinking that it should be made into a movie (if it wasn't already in the works). Maybe I had heard of it being made and forgot. ANYWAY. . . how psyched am I that Rachel McAdams is going to BE IN IT ??!! I LOOOOVE HER! YAY!!!
