Ryan Phillippe joined Will Forte and Kristen Wiig yesterday on the Albuquerque set of MacGruber. Will's been working on the movie for the last few days, shooting scenes in his hot red car over the weekend. Both Will and Kristen need to finish up with the film before Saturday Night Live returns on Sept. 26 with Megan Fox as host. Ryan, meanwhile, will be putting his hard-earned muscles to good use with his role as a good colonel against Val Kilmer's bad character in the latest SNL-inspired big screen project.

i cannot believe this movie is being made...
1It was stupid enough when he shot a ping pong ball from his ass on SNL. I bet Timberlake's backing this one with joy.

5I was surprised that Ryan agreed to this film. It makes me curious, since he's never done a straight up comedy before. I've read the summary of the script and it will all ride on the performances. I'm willing to give this one the benefit of the doubt and see what comes out of it.
6OMG they are making the MacGruber skit into a movie??? I absolutely detest this skit on SNL. Not funny at all.
7Ryan did a great job in the black comedy "Igby Goes Down." He was funny in the Jimmy Kimmel Show sex tape parody shown a few months ago. I think he'll do fine.
8Ryan looks hot. I'll go see it just for that plus I love Jorma Taccone he is totally awesome.
