Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz haven't been able to spend too much time in the same place this Summer, and their paths crossed briefly this week for a quick date night in LA on Tuesday. It was Ashlee's turn to head out yesterday as she flew from LAX to NYC while Pete was at Dodger Stadium throwing out the first pitch. They still send each other sweet messages over Twitter, but there's nothing like having some real family time with baby Bronx. Ashlee's been working hard on her hotly anticipated Melrose Place, and she'll be on The Today Show and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to promote her show today.
