In a couple of months no director will want Lindsay closer to a project

Outside of Mean Girls, what success has she had in the past few years?! Why are all of these people giving her yet another chance??

I think she would have to pull some major stuff out of her fanny to change the way most people think of her now.

All of these people need to stop giving coddling her. She obviously needs help, but she's not going to really receive the help until she wants to..and she won't want to until she really hits rock bottom!

Wow. I know that she brings in "publicity", but does it actually help her film projects? She's not even that great of an actress...she seems to play the same character with the same "I just smoked 12 packs of cigarettes and drank a fifth of vodka" voice in every movie.

em i think it does because if you if you notice whoever is having drama in their personal life will get the best roles or the most roles, like angie, jenn a, linds and so on

THis is why she stay a coked out alcohlic loser. It's one thing to wish her well and hope she recovers but she has to lose everything and hit rock bottom before she realizes she needs help. To place the blame on bar owners (yes they should not allow minors in for their own publicity sake) those individuals need to be responsible for their own actions once they get inside. If everyone keeps shifting the blame around LL will never have to own up to her actions. She continue to be this train wreck but hey at least I'll have something to keep me busy at work

OF COURSE it's the bars/ resturants fault that LL is an addict & replased (hard-core) 11 days after leaving rehab!! Why didn't anyone else think of that?!

Its the fault of people like Jill Stuart who coddle these stupid girls & tell them that everything is someone elses fault.

I Know Who Killed me is gatting AWFUL reviews & LL hasn't had a "hit" in years. I doubt she'll follow through on this tango movie or if she does it will bomb like crazy. I highly doubt that LL will be offered any plum roles. People like Jen A & AJ are offered good roles b/c they are professtionals & good actors, despite all the drama. LL is nothing but drama w/ no real talent to back it up

I actually watched I know who killed me and I liked it. There wasn't much publicity for the movie which is why I think it failed.

MrsLachey I don't know where you live but there was tons of commercials and publicity in OH! And the fact the she couldn't attend her own premeiere might have had a little to do with it lol!

+ everytime they talked about her arrest (ALL WEEK) they mentioned her movie being in theatres on FRI. She got tons of free publicity right there I got watched a bootleg and I was actually happy when the people walked in front of the lens and the babies cried lol!

publicity gets you sh*tty movies - like paris' new robot opera or whatever it is. publicity won't land you a role with scorsese, speilberg, etc. you won't get to do "real" films with "real" directors and great actors on publicity alone, you need the chops to back it up. lindsay did "prarie home companion" but i don't think she's going to have a bunch of great scripts being sent to her after her recent issues. the scripts she will get will be for films that NEED her publicity in order to get advertising/get people talking.

I for one can not believe the lame excuses that this girl keeps coming up with - is it just me or are her excuses getting lamer? She wants to be treated as an adult but then says things like I am a kid I need some one to tell me what to do? Geez Linds the last time I looked 21 is an adult - geez Linds you sure know how to party and snort like an adult - oh right those were not her pants! It's good that there are still people who believes in her... She should see this as a real blessing. Not everyone gets the same support she's getting now (i mean after all the troubles)... I hope she can make this work this time.

She has done nothing, since mean girls, that can be considered a success. She will however keep doing movies to support her whole family..aka...her mom, even if they suck. She "had" potential, now all she has is a mugshot, wrecked cars, and her privates floating the internet....

I for one think she's a good actress with a unique look and ,yes some extreme personal issues.No one has walked in her shoes, knows what her family life growing up did to her or the temptations that daily come her way and once you are an addict it's not easy to avoid temptations.I'm just saying lay off a little and yes her handlers need to see she doesn't drive for quite a while, because the real tragedy to me is what could have happened with her behind the wheel.

These people need to STOP blaming the paparazzi. If an average citizen chose, CHOSE to drive drunk and high multiple times, they would be a pariah. This girl has everyone around her placing blame on others but I've heard no statements from her taking responsibility for her actions. The only one of these losers that has is Nicole Richie. Paparazzi do not cause people to make poor life decisions. And people like Lindsay Lohan seek out attention; I have much more respect for people like Natalie Portman who don't wh*re themselves out for photos.

And NO I disagree that it is everyone else’s fault that Lohan is that way**Bad to the core. No one forced her to drink or sniff anything. And no one forced her to take bi-sexual looking knify photos with Vanessa untalented Minnillo. Lohan is like the rest of the no talented ones. Lohan did those bad things by herself. Now Lohan can blame who she wants until the day she’s finally gone, but no intelligent person will ever believe that her faults are because of other people like bartenders, rehab personnel, restaurants, old rumor, or no talent.

I hope she makes a recovery and stays sober but this girl is in such denial about everything. She's an adult and she needs to take responsibility for her actions like everyone else. People shouldn't make excuses for her because that is not helping her, that is telling her that everyone around her is wrong and not her. LL does/did have talent, the first time I watched her was in "Parent Trap," and that was really well done, she played both twins, and although I must admit, she's not the cutest/prettiest, LL has a "something" (likability) in her that makes people DURING that period just adored her.

Yes, she may not be the most talented, but remember she doesn't come from a wealthy family (like Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, etc), she actually EARNED her money, that said a LOT. She must have something in order for her to keep getting roles and have people want to watch her or buy her CD (she did a singing stint, I believe, I don't know how it turned out).

I don't even blame the paparazzi for her misbehavior, LL was the one in an interview (I watched it on E!), who actually said that it's a 'price to pay' when you're in the limelight and that she realizes she's under so much scrutiny so she won't do anything bad. So she knows, she has a brain. As for mommy and daddy, let's just say this, I can't blame them wholly, although I think they're enabling her (this excludes dad who's out of their life). And nope, mom shouldn't party with their underage kids...

Do I like the current LL? Nope. I don't really care much either, I think she should be going to prison/jail, and if she does receive treatment, it should be when she's in that facility, and the next time she's wearing an ankle bracelet, let the authority instead of her lawyer, monitor it.
Can she go back to being a workable actor? Well, look at Drew Barrymore. So I'd say anything is possible.
