We told you this morning all about going (RED) to raise money and fight AIDS in Africa, and we're loving our new outfits that show support for the cause. Bono and Oprah are also going red. They hit Chicago's "Magnificent Mile" together to show off new clothing from The Gap, accessories and cool gadgets like the new cherry red iPod that will all help to fight AIDS. It's all super simple, and you don't have to do anything special to help out. Bono said,

"Some people won't put on marching boots, so we've got to get to people where they are at, and they're in the shopping malls. Now you're buying jeans and T-shirts, and you're paying for 10 women in Africa to get medication for their children with HIV."
It's all so simple so why not Join (RED)? You can also check out more pics of Bono and Oprah read more

Doing something for a great cause good for them!
1I absolutely love Bono and Oprah!
2I love both of them!
3All the stuff they are showing is so cute, I swear if I had money like Oprah I would buy 10 of each just like her.
4I love Bono!
5Oprah is looking ROUGH.
6yea crispet, she is looking a little drag.
7She doesn't have alot of make up on, that's why.
8Aw shucks, wish I would have known ahead of time. I MAYBE would have headed down there.
I love 'em both too!
9ooh a cherry red ipod sounds nice!
10cool. i was thinking about getting a new ipod anyway. i wonder when they come out? i think this team should run for office! Oprah for president yo:-)
11LoL My friend and I was watching it (not together, we are in separate states) and she texted me and she said:
12"Did you see all this sh*t Oprah is buying? that's it, I'm convinced Oprah is God."
*I should add she doesn't literally believe that, it was a joke. Before I get attacked. lol
13think about it...Oprah could get everyone in the country to read... She did a better job taking care of Katrina than the government did... We could accomplish two firsts...first black and first female president. b*tch just needs to run. She would so win.
14Bought my red t-shirt today at Gap...
15I'm watching Oprah now. She is so silly. She's cracking me up. I like the RED Motorola RAZR. Red is my favorite color anyway. LOL...They're @ Armani now. Bono said "they're all boys" Hahaha
16oprah doesn't need to be carrying any bags.. looks like she's got a couple of him under her eyes..
17I just bought two of the t-shirts at the Gap. (One for me, one for my sister). They are actually cut really well. The shape is really flattering. The cotton is pretty darn soft too. They are highly recommended!
I just love this campaign. I think rather than asking people to donate money for nothing, they are just saying, "Hey, if there is something you were already going to buy (like a t-shirt, jeans, etc.) if you buy from this line, you are also giving money to fight malaria and AIDS in Africa." You get a little something to keep for your money, AND you do a good deed. I hope that people really respond well to this. Props to POPSUGAR for supporting it!
18I think this is an awesome idea. I joined RED! It's so good to watch celebrities fight for a good cause. Made my day
19Is it available in Canada - the Gap (PRODUCT) RED items is what I mean? I've checked the Canadian website for Gap and it doesn't show this line at all.
I love the shirts that read INSPI(RED) or ADMI(RED). So cute and it helps people from my birthplace and the surrounding countries.
20Bono is amazing.
21I think a lot of Americans are really generous...but it is hard to trust charity organizations and know that the money you donate actually goes to those in need, and not those doing the organization. Call me crazy, but for some reason, I really trust Bono and support those efforts that he directs us to. It seems to me he really wants to change the world for the better.
22I think its a good idea
23I love Oprah and do not care what she looks like as she is a magnificent woman and an inspiration to me and many others...she has never been a looker and she has more class than to be a Hollywood ho....she made a Billion out of making the right choices and being smart....something the likes of so many young girls hero's like Lilo and Paris will never do.
24i totally agree with u JKBoogie, the woman is an angel, sent to earth to help people. I believe she was born for this reason..She is amazing and an inspiration to us all
25Good for them! I love to see this kind of thing.
