We knew it. That meeting they had the day before Jessica announced their divorce was Nick's final attempt to save their marriage. Star reports that Nick went over with flowers for the family, a get well card for Ashlee who had recently collapsed, and even greeted Daddy Joe with a hug. He asked Jess to start the marriage over - live apart and re-date and all that good stuff but Jess said forget it and the next day filed for divorce. Check out the article here.
