Cameron Diaz just keeps getting busier and busier these days. A few months ago we weren't sure what was next for Cameron but now she's got multiple projects in the works like The Box and What Happens in Vegas.
The latest news is that she just signed on to play Anna's mother in a film adaption of My Sister's Keeper, a Jodi Picoult novel. While Cameron isn't exactly the most maternal of all actresses, it's great to see that she's branching out and taking on different types of roles. Maybe she'll even get another kickass wardrobe like in Charlie's Angels and The Holiday.

I love the book "My sister's keeper." Im looking forward to seeing the movie. But this is a really serious role, so I hope she does a good job.

12That book is fantastic, I really recommend it to everyone. Her and Jude Law? Well, they were cute together in the Holiday but I don't know the same thing could be true in reality.
13Can't see Cameron in this serious of a role.As for her and Jude Law-his publicist said they are not dating.They are friends from making The Holiday together-that's all.
14I agree with Cinnamon Girl...a lot more of young Hollywood needs to take a look at her. Cameron has bad days too, but we do see any mug shots of her, or her car wreaked & abandoned on the side of the street because she was too drunk to drive anymore. Good job with staying positive Cameron.
15i cant see cameron in this role, the mother is supposed to be older in age and in spirit, i dont see surfer girl cameron dealing with her older daughter's lifelong leukemia battle

24I love Jodi Picoult! I met her once at a book signing and she was SO incredibly nice. I had no idea that My Sister's Keeper was being made into a movie... it'll be a stretch for Cameron in that role.
