Jessica Simpson's Blonde Ambition has had some problems from the start, making the fate of the movie pretty bleak. Things have gone from bad to worse for the film and now the rumor is that it's going straight to DVD in America. While this has yet to be confirmed by the movie's reps, it doesn't fare well for the movie's ratings if it does in fact hit the big screen. We want to know - would you be surprised if Blonde Ambition went straight to DVD?

4She seems sweet, I really like her, but she has no depth. I don't believe her in any of the roles she's played, and she can't get deep enough into the character to make us forget about the fact that she's Jessica Simpson, ditzy blonde bombshell and..that's it.

14i didn't expect this movie to be good at all. the moment i saw the first pics of it with that ugly fake looking wig, i knew it was all downhill. i don't understand how people spend so much money making a movie, yet they can't get a decent wig.

22I really dislike Jess, basically because I don't feel like she really is that stupid but has played it up for TV and publicity. It makes us other blondes look dumber and perpetuates a stereotype I really hate - that if you're blonde and cute or sexy, you're a moron. And not being a star couple anymore has definitely hurt her, people love that image of perfect romance and marriage and people love the drama that comes with it even more.

25I saw a rough cut of the trailer and it looked awful. I used to adore and respect her as a role model but seriously, she needs to get back to singing ballads.

45I don't think the movie being bad is all her fault...from the moment I heard the plot I thought it sounded pretty silly. But she does need to go back to singing. She has an amazing voice and it's her true calling.

47Back in 1999 Jessica Simpson had a great voice...now I think she alters it and sings in a sometimes inaudible whisper...hopefully she'll go back to the powerhouse voice we know she has!!!

49i don't think jessica is acting because she wants to be a good actress, it's just an easy way for her to make bank. she has a great voice when she's not trying too hard to sing. i really like her song i wanna love you forever.
