Julia Roberts took a break from filming Eat, Pray, Love in Rome and headed with her family to George Clooney's Lake Como estate yesterday. George has had plenty of friendly visitors like Matt Damon over the Summer, but Julia's arrival comes while her host is off in Venice premiering his new movie. Even without George around, the Roberts-Moder party took a boat out on the water, with Danny going shirtless for an afternoon with Hazel and Phinneaus.

you have to admit that if for nothing else, GC's purchase of that place makes for a GREAT vacation home for his friends. i don't know if there's any other celeb home that's quite a destination for everyone.
