Remember when Nick was famous for being in some boy band and Jessica was barely known since she was competing with the likes of Britney and Christina? In fact, Nick was much more well off that Jessica's dad supposedly even recommended that she did not sign a prenup. Then the couple we fell in love with changed and Jessica's career was on fire. Looks like the tables are turned again. Not only has Nick moved on and found a new love but he's back on top according to album sales. Here's more:
To date, Simpson's fourth album has sold a total of 218,972 copies and currently sits at No. 131 on Billboard's Top 200 Album list, while her ex-husband's new album has seen 545,345 sales due to the success of its title ballad.
The Daily News said that those numbers reflect a drastic drop for Simpson, whose last album sold 2.9 million copies, while in contrast reflects triple the amount of sales Lachey enjoyed with his last musical offering.
To be fair Jessica has been spreading herself a little thin lately. Between creating hair extensions, shoes, bags and more as well as acting in films and as her own publicist, there's not a lot of time left in the day for a singing career. 40i'm more for nick than jess. i think it is very obvious how much she LOVED being in the spotlight. any paparazzi picture with her and nick going out to dinner or what not, she is cheesing away while nick is looking down and trying his best to get to their car.
as him being bitter with the divorce, i would be too. it's not a hollywood break-up but to be married and divorce is much more devestating. just because they are hollywood doesn't mean everyone is the same, i think nick honestly believed that his marriage would work and he wanted it to. he wasn't very hollywood in the newlyweds and he's definitely more low key, so of course a divorce is a blow. as for him not handling their divorce well, i think considering everything they are handling it fine. it could get ugly...denise and charlie, paul and heather and the list goes on. nick being a little bitter doesn't hurt anyone, that one year mark is coming up and that's usually the hardest for anyone who actually cared.
there's just a lot of contradicting actions the simpson family have put out there. they praise their religion so much but there are so many non-christian traits about them.
side note: i know that someone mentioned in a previous comment that jessica should go to oprah and say her side. i'm sure if she really is telling the truth about why her marriage ended her dad would have booked her to do some type of special interview long ago. so that makes you think, what exactly is she hiding....
41i can't think of a single song that 98 degrees did...really i've been racking my brain and i can't. i know most of backstreet boys and n'sync songs and band members but 98 degrees was a blip on the radar.
42man, i hope jessica doesn't "open up" about the divorce. keep it quiet, keep it personal. the whole world doesn't have know every detail. i don't like it when stars have to tell their side of a breakup, it makes it seem all so high school.

49I couldn't be happier! Jess sucks, she thought Nick was the cornball but nope she was. She threw away a good man and let hollywood get to her big head. If Nick looked like dirt I would take him! Did you see the way he took care of her and the house? He kissed the ground she walked on and she treated him like last nights garbage. Nick just wanted a semi normal life. I think he would of been a stay at home dad and let Jess shine since she wanted to so bad. Remember when Jess laughed out loud at Nicked song he played for her? She's such a creep!
