I hope she gets better. I can totally sympathize with her getting ill. To much travel and exhaustion. Being Pregnant and having the stresses of having to hide your biggest secret. I'm also excited she's having a little girl.

I hope she feels better. I can't imagine a extremely long flight from New Zealand while sick. That would suck, and I think it takes like 14 hours to get back to the US from there.

Jillness - I was thinking the same thing. How horrible to actually be that sick and have to take that long of a flight.

I don't like her cover shot, the look on her face isn't nice for InStyle imho. Most of their cover models smile!! Plus she looks so different without all that eye makeup.

I rarely like her pictures lately. She's entirely too overdone to me.

I think she's naturally very pretty, but I think her glammed look hides that.

I definitely think she tries too hard. On singing as well. She has this incredible voice in my opinion, but she mucks up everything with the Mariah Syndrome of making every syllable go through an entire octave.

I'm sure that "pooch" she was pointing to in pictures posted in prior weeks, was not just fat. She wasn't fat anywhere else other than there.

As for her makeup on the cover (and those people telling her she isn't Marilyn)...the make up artist the magazine hires is the one who decides the make up style for the shoot...not Christina. It is also the magazine who decides to use a picture of her not smiling, not Christina.

I'm not necessarily referring to the magazine shot, I mean stuff she obviously does herself (like just being seen around town) I think is WAY overdone.

She has grown a lot as a singer, but I think she still overdoes it.

when i said she tries to be like marilyn monroe its because she DOES (well used to, not so much anymore)..look at her past music vids since "tilt your head back" with nelly, and up until Candyman. I do like her new cd though and im not denying she has an amazing voice. but whatever. i guess imitation is the most sincere form of flattery? but please. nobody can ever be marilyn monroe. theres only one.

and Greggie, i agree when you say she's "way overdone" sometimes. even around town. shes so naturally pretty already, i dunno why shes cakes on more much makeup that she needs.

I think her makeup tendancies reflect a deeper insecurity, but that doesn't really change the way I feel about her abilities or her personality. She's human.

She definitely has a beautiful voice but I also think she tries too hard. Not surprise me the unflattering photo on the cover - I've never found her beautiful.

I don't like that cover photo either. She looks like a wax figure. I don't have anything against her though. I agree she should be home resting and taking care of herself. I am 4 months pregnant and I feel exhausted most of the time and I don't even do much.

I think less is more I do have to admit it looks a lot better than her stripped days I think her best look was in the nobody wants to be lonely video not too overdone but not teeny bopper either. It is still amazing to see such a tranformation of an artist. This girl is like a chameleon. I mean if we look at pics of her from 02 qand now its like damn is it the same girl? Another magazine cover with someone being photoshopped to death - who gives the final okay on these covers??? She looks terrible.

No one ever accuses Gwen Stefani of copping Marilyn Monroe's look(which was fake as well, btw--"Marilyn Monroe" was a studio invention) or even Jean Harlow when she first started rocking red lips and platinum hair. It isn't as though Christina never said what inspired her. I think people are too apt to ream into Christina when she switches her look. No one does it to Madonna(who, incidentally filched Marilyn's Gentleman Prefer Blondes performance).

Is she being modest only because the pregnancy is not the three months yet?

I saw her tour in Adelaide and am so greatful she wasn't sick then, but I also wish her a very speedy recovery.

Maybe she became too ill to finish the tour out because she realized how unbelievably HIDEOUS her husband is and is scared the baby will look like him.
