Of course, I'm due just a couple weeks after Nicole at the most and I wouldn't be able to find out the sex of the baby for another 6 weeks, so I don't put much stock in it. She could've had amnio and all, but still.

I get the sense that becoming a mother will totally change Nicole's life for the better. After all her issues, I still amazingly believe in her.
And I'm really excited for Christina and her hubby. I can't wait to see how they'll dress their little girl.

I heard that Christina's mother had confirmed it, but they were waiting to make an announcement after her tour dates had ended.

Of course Nicole & Christina would be pregnant at the same time. As I recall they both got engaged around the same time, and although Nicole's didn't workout the way she wanted, they are now pregnant together...this is becoming a bit eerie!!!

i just saw her interview with Diane Sawyer (nicole), just now. and say what u want about nicole, but when diane asked her if she was pregnant, she just lit up and smiled, she seemed to genuinely be excited for her baby and poser Joel was by her by her side, who by the way, has gained a new chin..anyway they also claimed that they dunno the sex of the baby yet..and etc.

its too early to tell for either of them! I didn't find out with either of my kids til I was around 18-20 weeks along. The only other way to tell is an amnio or CVS test and I doubt either of them have had either test at their ages.

I wouldn't doubt if Nicole had an amnio early to determine any problems due to her ... err... ill health, shall we say? But still. I think reporting the sex of the baby is waaaaaaaay premature.

If nicole is due on Dec 30th that would make her 18 weeks now. So it would be possible for her to know now.

I don't believe much that comes out of InTouch.. I don't think Christina has confirmed anything by mouth yet, although I think I read that she has cancelled the rest of her tour, which I think is a pretty strong indication that she's preggo.

I'm impressed that Christina managed as much as she did in her first trimester. There's not a chance in hell I would've been able to do that. I can barely even get off the couch.

Wow, that's AWFUL that someone in the hospital would release this private info to the media. Nicole stated in her interview that she and Joel did not want to know the sex of their baby. so much for privacy!!!! Ugh...

The hospital shouldn't even really keep a record if the parents don't want to know. We've never found out the sex and they're not supposed to put anything in the chart noting it so that no one can mess up and accidentally reveal it.

cashmere you're right it is a bit surreal that these things happen to them at the same time - although nicole never got married in the end ... maybe christina really isn't preggers then.

Coloring your hair depends on your doctor - I've been able to color mine last pregnancy and this one.

That's really early to know the gender yet with a "normal" pregnancy. I've never found out until I was like 25 weeks I think.

I guess they could have done an amnio already though. A lot of people do so that they can abort during the first trimester if the baby has issues. But still....

I'm still not sure I believe that Christina's pregnant, either. I do kind of hope she is, I like her and her husband. And if she is, I'm just really really impressed by the schedule she's kept up.
