I am not shocked at all that Christina is the one that has turned out more successful. Even when she went through her "Dirrty" phase, she has always been much more talented than Britney, and true talent will keep you around. Britney was never really in it for the music, she wanted the fame.

I really do like her.. I think that as she has matured and found someone who loves and respects her that she has become a real role model for women.

Now if only the same can be said for Brit, I feel bad for her.. chalk it up to bad decisons I guess.

I think Christina has always aspired to be a respected singer. Ultimately, I think that view has lead her to grow as an artist, and will allow her to have a long career. I mean, Aretha can still sing even if she can't fit into hot pants. Like Juju said, I think that other people just wanted fame and that has a limited shelf life.

She looks cute, but are ya preggers XTina, let's talk about it. Then we can frolic in the lilies....

I'm equally shocked as I am satisfied that Christina Aguilera, of all the hot teeny boppers, turned out the be the biggest success story... I mean, who else at her age is STILL happily married?

The BW pics are nice cuz you don't see the RED lipstick. Seriously she needs to stop.

lilsugar, in this case the lipstick color would have been the choice of the make-up artist working on the shoot, not Christina.

I love Christina. I would love to know if she's pregnant for sure. Enough speculation already!

i agree with some people above- who would have thought that she'd end up the most normal and stable! she always was the biggest talent but she also seems to have done the best with dealing with the spotlight and maturing and being a good person. good for her. she's one of the few that hearing she's pregnant is a good thing!

I always like Christina, and felt she had a better head on her shoulders, even in her Dirrty stage, than Britney. Britney was pretty and had a hot body but she was just a kid, Christina seemed so much more mature. I really wish Britney would change. She still can't sing but she can at least look good and disappear and take care of her kids.

I am so glad that Christina is not like the rest now. And I am also happy that she has learned to keep more clothes on. Christina now understands that she doesn’t have to have it all popping out to show her sexiness while staying popular with her audience. She knows can save a lot of that ( her too revealing outfits) for the stage too. And that’s good.

A lot of them just can’t understand that one day their children will see what we all see. The internet is not going anywhere. So the children will see that some mommies did not know how to grow up and respect that they were about to come into the world. As for Britney, hers is already here and they always look so sad because she doesn’t act like a mother with or without them in her presence.

Anyway, Christina has surely matured into a beautiful young woman. She surely planned her family the right way at her young age. And I wish her all the best.

I think I am going to have to whip out my Back To Basics cd on the ride home tonight. I don't know if it is because I am in a very happy relationship, but there are a lot of songs on the cd I relate to. It always cheers me up! (unless I want to weep, then I listen to Hurt).

jillness, I really doubt the red lipstick was simply a choice by the make-up artist. She's probably got it in her contract. It's the image she wants to project in every photo shoot, every time she walks out in public, even on her wedding day. Just tired of it...

I guess it just goes to show everyone.....she who has the real "Talent" usually comes out on top and has longevity.

I dont know lilsugar...She has worn lighter lipstick in other shoots, like her one for Allure where she wore baby pink.

For this magazine, they are going to be showcasing fall make up and clothes, and fall always means darker bolder colors.

I have always loved Christina more than the other pop princesses (Britney, Mandy, Jessica) because she's always had the natural talent to back up the blatant sexiness. Even when she was at her worst (the Dirrrrty days for me), you would never be able to call her talentless, which is the only adjective to describe most of Hollywood today.

i was always a christina fan never understood how Baby One more time got so much play, it was so sucky. She was real and she was out there and lived out her wildness before bringing kids into this world.

I love me some baby jane I hate to say it but why must we ALWAYS compare britney and christina I said this to my friends if christina were another race or a different hair color or came in a different style music there would be no comparisons. I love brit and yes the gurl really messed up. I worry about her its kinda like that song lucky. She is that girl. Lonely depressed and in over her head. I know christina had a breakdown prior or during her stripped phase. She got thru it and it made her stronger. I think britney needs to sit with a counselor and re evaluate her life. Christina talk to your fellow mouseketeer.

it's funny how the media is sayin' fed's a better father for the kids than brit, a few years ago he wuz scum. media turns itself around as soon as they see everything chances, so they chance their opinion by the second.just like the brit-xtina battle. media said xtina wuz the less popular 1, less sexy, brit 'paved' the way for xtina... blablabla. i always liked xtina more, especially in her 'stripped' period. brit just stayed pretty much the same. so for the media to recognize xtina is the more grounded 1, justice for me iz served .
