Americans for the Arts had their National Arts Awards last night, and new Uncle Jake took home a prize for the Young Artist Award for Artistic Excellence. However, the real question of the evening is where is Matthew McConaughey?? Did they not let him in because of that nasty beard? It's looking like Matt was easily replaced with Robert Downey Jr. These guys clearly never think three's a crowd.

Just taking a wild guess but I'm pretty sure Matt's not there because he's filming his new movie with Kate Hudson (Fool's Gold, I think it's call - hence the unshaven look as well I believe) in Queensland, Australia. Actually he was here in my town a week ago - just a few days after that night and I'm pretty sure we wouldn't be anyone's first stop in Australia.
But hell I'd have any of them any day - unshaven or not.
