Jessica Simpson: singer, reality star, actress - publicist? Wow, she should be named employee of the month for all the jobs she's been doing lately. We heard rumors that she was handling her own damage control but you can't blame her after the PR disaster when it was declared that she was madly in love with John Mayer. Here's more:
"It's been very emotional," she says, "But I am my own publicist right now. I've called all the heads of the tabloids. I don't want anyone else to speak for me now."
The former NEWLYWEDS: NICK + JESSICA star claims she wanted to talk to editors personally about all of the hurtful stories and try and move past her bitter feelings towards them. She adds, "It felt good to call them, but it was hard to find forgiveness. But that's one of my best qualities, I'm very forgiving." Simpson says she knows exactly who leaks information to the media when she reads the tabloid reports adding, "I know who they are, and none are my friends. "Trust me, if inside sources were my friends, the magazines would have a lot juicier info!"
Sounds like the tabloids aren't digging deep enough and it's almost as if Jess wants us to be even more curious about her life. Honest, doubtful...she's human, we ALL lie. Sweet girl, sure part of her is nice. But she is totally affected by the hype. She isn't humble, and she has this air about her now, that screams, I'm a very important person, so you have to be interested in me. She called the tabloids about what they wrote about her? Obviously, there was a lot of truth to these stories because if not, why not sue them Jessica? People like Cameron Diaz, and now Vince Vaughn, will sue these publications for lying on them. Why...they are damaging to their reputations. These magazines have shown her to be an adultress in her marriage, and pretty much a "loose" woman now. She MADE her career off of being wholesome, and likeable to the public, and these covers and stories, have really hurt her. But instead of taking action, she just calls them, and basically says, "Sorry, but will you stop picking on me, and just love me again"? This is the same woman that reads about herself in these magazines, and has been doing it since she was on Newlyweds. If you don't like Us Weekly, don't go to THEIR sponsored parties, or give them information about you. If you don't like OK magazine, don't run to them for exclusives.That's just one of many reasons that I can't stand this girl now.

I don't need her to apologize to Nick because he could have done some things that we don't know about to contribute to her wanting to end that marriage. And even if he didn't, if she wronged him, she should acknowledge that privately between them. They need closure for themselves. She should however, own up to what's true and not true about her. If she's dated all of these men that she's been linked to, own up to it, if she got caught up in the Hollywood lifestyle and it made her go wild and change, she should own up to it as well.
Again the key is being relatable to your public, and right now, it's not happening. Don't feed me, I'm great, I'm a superstar, buy my crap, but then say, don't take my picture, don't write gossip about me, and don't ask me about my ex. You say it's been hard on you, then tell us how and why. Let us see the real you, that isn't about being ditzy, or your breasts.I really feel like her father is going to ultimately ruin her career, if she continues to let him manage her. If she wants to get to the next level, he aint the one to take her there.

38honestly, I think people are hard on her, because she gets so much buzz for absolutly nothing. People tire easy of gimmicks, and she was trend a few years ago, that developed into nothing. She still has not produced a peice of work that we , as a popsugar family ( LOL) have been impressed by. She IS NOT the real deal. She is a fake, that is cute enough to get away with calling herself a singer-actress, but in reality, I do not consider her anything more then a wannabe that got lucky.
