Leo has always been green. The environment is definitely his number one cause. Although he likes his private jet, he does drive a Prius. Now he is taking his love for planet Earth to the small screen. His plan is to do a reality show called E-topia. Here's more:

AWESOME!!!! I love this idea!! Leo is one of my fav's for his devotion to the earth! It is such an important issue & doesn't get enough attention in Hollywood, IMO
1Okay, does anyone remember the movie that he was in called "The Beach". That movie was known to have totally wrecked the eco-system of that island. They bulldozed it to make it look like that. I know he was young and did not know any better but come on, stars are the biggest hypocrites out there. A lot of movies wreck the natural surroundings they film in.
I am sorry but I am sick of stars being praised and honored for doing what all humans who live on this earth are obligated to do.

These stars will fly private jets every chance they can get. As I said before they are huge hypocrites.

I traded in the Expedition for a Prius and recycle and do what I can to conserve energy.. but if I need to get from LA to NYC.. I think I would probably have to fly too. And since the personal jets use less fuel than a jumbo jet..esp one that has to taxi and sit on a runway waiting for take off longer (which burns more fuel) then in actuality he is still using less fossil fuels.

12Celebrity or no celebrity as soon as you are born a human you are part of the problem. No matter how hard everyone tries to be as green as they can they will always be wasteful. That is just how modern society works. I just think people who have more money waste more than people with less, ie celebrities.
13I think Leo is allowed to become more aware of things happening in the world & doing something about things he feels strongly about. Just because he was in a movie that destroyed the enviroment does not mean he is never allowed to become concerned about it.
