Today was the first Howard Stern broadcast at his new home, Sirius Satellite Radio. He was supposed to make some big announcement today but decided to play a joke on everyone instead. He said he got married to longtime girlfriend, Beth Ostrosky, while in Mexico over the holidays and then spent the rest of the show denying it. Howard was so excited about his freedom, but did not spend the entire show cursing and actually got mad at a guest for doing so.

The good news is for Sirius, which saw an increase in subscriptions since signing Howard. They used to have 600,000 subscribers, but now with The Shock Jock on board they have over 3.3 million.

It's a win win for everyone. Howard was so excited he said today:

"This represents a dream for all broadcasters ... When management now holds you by the balls and says there's no place for you, now there's a place to come.

"There's limitless possibilities now," Stern continued. "We are going to go to new places and that doesn't mean the F-word. If that's what satellite means, then that's ridiculous. Then it's just pornography."
