Cameron Diaz joined the Celtics to help build a fence in Boston on Friday to observe the anniversary of September 11 and the first National Day of Service and Remembrance. The actress is in Boston to work on a movie with Tom Cruise that starts filming next week. She's been keeping her schedule filled with her multiple projects including the Green Hornet with Seth Rogen but still makes time to get her hands dirty for a good cause.

i love that she's participating in activities like this. as for getting to work with Tom - i forgot that they are going to be shooting this movie already. i guess that means that he won't be able to fly back and forth to visit Katie for a while. oh well.

3I went to high school with her, and she was sooo sweet!!!! And not just to the popular kids that she hung out with but to everyone even the ordinary, "plain" girls like me! She always stood up for everyone, I will never forgot how unique Cameron was and still is as a wonderful, and talented actress she became!!!!
