13I really do not think it is appropriate or acceptable that an ARREST (mind you, no trial, no conviction, not found guilty by a jury of her peers) for a very mild assault in self defense is cause for revocation of a work visa. And I think it is pretty f*cked up that this website would suggest it will "teach her a lesson." Whatever happened to her that night will be determined by the criminal justice system of her own country. The fact that the U.S. would deny visas to a person for such a trifling offense against the laws of a different nation (and you can bet the only reason they even KNOW about the arrest is because of silly gossip cites -- DHS has taken to googling folks as they cross the border to look up dirt and reasons to keep people out) just goes to show how far this country has fallen, and how close to fascism. If I heard this story from Saudi Arabia or Singapore, it would make sense. But what is happening to America???? This is disgusting.
