On todays show, Oprah talks about Michael Jackson's skin disease which could explain how much his pigmentation lightened over the years since he denied bleaching. She says that his skin was basically translucent and you could see his veins. Watch Oprah talk MJ on the PopSugar Rush update now!

Hey Oprah...shut up. No one needs to know about MJ's disease. The man is dead...let him go and quit using him to get an audience to pay attention to you.
1ummm, I thought they found bleaching cream when the cops searched his home that one time? hmmm Oprah is an idiot anyway you look at it. Yesterdays Whitney interview she was acting all surprised when Oprah was teaching her how to Lace her Joints with cocaine. Please, I remember that old Episode when Oprah admitted to smoking Crack cocaine.
2I don't dislike Oprah, and I'm not joking or being silly, but my skin is pretty much translucent too. You can see every vein in my body! Big deal! I don't think that means he didn't bleach his skin. I'm extremely pale, and I think that is why you can see them so well.
3The man is dead. Let him rest in peace. The way he died was very sad, so there is no need for more details of the sad parts of his life. I'm sure Oprah, and everyone else who are talking about Michael these days are with good intentions, but enough. Let's just remember what a great artist he was. After all his music legacy speaks for itself.
4THAN'S OPRAH again,
5because eversince michael changing his skin tone he 's been scrutinzed to death about that.
and im glad oprah knows he wasn't just bleaching his skin.
but rather help his condition.
the gut had vitiligo point-blank
6The man had vitiligo can we just officially state that as a fact. There are videos all over youtube showing his disease he did not want to be white for the last time. Instead of people talking about what this disease does to a person they made fun of it. Why is it that whenever Michael said something it was a lie but if someone else said it well then its true. Seriously he couldn't win. Now just let him RIP and stop trying to pretend you were his best friend. The only people who cared about Michael were his children and I wish the best for them.
7Oh and by pretending to be his best friend I don't mean Oprah but all those a-holes who are now coming out to talk about Michael on Entertainment Tonight, The Insider etc.,
8yeah, thanks Oprah...I'll believe what I want to believe since this a man who went under the knife like 45 times...I saw MJ once when I worked at Columbia Records, EPIC is in the building so I ran down to the 21st fl and he was wearing that hideous satin blue outfit to promote "Invincible"...I think his skin would pick up whatever color he was wearing...so that day he was slightly blue...interesting...and he was taller than I thought
9Translucent from BLEACHING IT.
10Yes, he was taller than we thought. I read an article right after he died that said he was almost 6' tall; the Sept.2009 GQ article said he was 5'11 1/2" tall. I always thought he was small & skinny like Prince - not that that's bad. Small & skinny can be sexy/powerful like Prince & Jet Li.
Michael was lean like dancers, and he had muscle definition too; see "In the Closet" video (easier to see on dvd, but on YouTube watch his arms when Naomi is writhing on the ground). He had to be strong to sing & dance non-stop for 2-hr. concerts. It wasn't until the witch hunt & public lynching that his spirit & body broke.
11Ligaya if you look at the facts that managed to get past his well protected and vaulted life and ignored it was MJ you would have serious doubts about the conduct and character of this man in some aspects of his private life. A fact
12He had vitiligo. He bleached his skin to even out his skin tone. There's videos that shows the disease. Myself had it but it treated because it was focal.
13WTF, Lisa101, did you have some private encounters with MJ himself or are you an enraged tabloid junkie?
14Leave it alone, the man is dead.
tabloids or police evidence, I just cant decide
15lisa101, you obviously don't know what you're talking about. it's obvious you've only read the tabloids. b/c if you were really interested in the facts, you would have read the court documents and transcripts from mj cases, which clearly show that the families involved were lying, the testimonies kept changing, and in addition the second family had a history of suing for sexual harrassment against jcpenney, where they were caught shoplifting.
but what does the truth matter now anyway? people like you killed mj.
16Anon comments...
The police barely could reunite evidences. It was just about shaky depostions from a family.
17I can't talk for everyone but MJ had a lot of fans before and after his death. Nobody would give him a time of the day? Until his death he kept making headlines and there were masses of people surrounding him for pictures, autographs and sightseeing. For better and for the worse people did gave him a time of the day.
What's happening now, is simple: For some ''They don't know what they got unitl its gone'' .Others only start to know more about him and his music. When someone die it makes certain people reflective. Its totally normal.
Sure, he was a tabloid fodder, like most stars. Sure he seemed odd, but it never affected me. I liked his music and I'l admit watching back now at past interviews and knowing more about him I appreciate him even more.
Nobody has to agree about a celebrity. I'll just say I'd rather take care of myself and my own surroundings then take it all out on someone I don't know, who isn't even there anymore to defend himself making statements on things that are unproven. I read gossip, I can form an opinion but there are certain lines I won't cross. But that's just me.
Duh... he had a skin disorder, its nothing new.
That's why his arms were always covered and wore lot of makeup.
But if haters are left with nothing to hate about what they'll become?
18This Lisa person sure is spiteful over a person ''nobody gave a time of the day''. Jealous of the attention maybe, I don't know. Don't care.
19OMG seriously people.
I honestly believe that he had issues with his skin color and he had himself bleached. I honestly don't think he molested anyone. But, whose opinions about this dead man really matter. Even if he did molest kids he will still continue to have fans who support him just like, Whitney Houston, Michael Vick, Chris Brown, Sienna Miller, Angelina Jolie, Kanye West, Brad Pitt and so on and so on. Celebrities
20I like what juiceylemon has to say. Annon comments well whateva. His Dad has yet to answer for his part I think
21Yea its called being pale but either way i doubt that was the reason he turned white. You can see through my skin too, you sound as if you never met or known anyone who didnt have a tan.... Oh Oprah.
22Do people still watch Oprah? That show is unwatchable with Oprah crying all the time and acting like she knows everything and the audience that is encouraged to scream every 5 minutes.
Michael Jackson did not become this white by just a skin disease. Also his nose did not went thin because of any disease. This man had himself altered in every possible way and was a drug addict.
23It was evident from this interview that Oprah did not feel a "connection" with Michael like the one she felt towards Whitney. Even though Whitney and Michael are both iconic, had a substance abuse problem, stayed out of the spotlight in their later years, and had an abusive male figure in their lives. Oprah was tearing throughout the entire Whitney interview, even when Whitney was not being profound. Oprah did not seem moved or touched or in awe of Michael. She said in this episode that she was more excited about "getting the interview".
She was cold here, and it saddened me.
24Uh...Sarana?
Nobody, said that his nose has been altered by a disease. Its only his skin that's been talking about here. Its also been said repeatedly that he also bleached his skin to even it out.
25How very sad that people are brainwashed by the media...mud sticks. Poor Michael was acquitted on the molesting charges. People who still think he was guilty should take their heads out of the tabloid papers and read books like Michael Jackson Conspiracy by Aphrodite Jones and Redemption by Geraldine Hughes and Court records as previously suggested by "splashofgrey". No bloody wonder Michael took pain killers and anti anxiety drugs...we killed him,
26I doubt that everyone who thinks he is a child molester is a tabloid junkie. My fiance for example hates everything celebrity like, but you could not tell him anything that would change his mind that Michael is in fact a pedophile. People will judge him or praise him regardless.
27here is what I think. the man is dead. time to move on. that he may or may not have had a skin disease, wanted to be white, liked to be around kids, maybe did or did not do questionable things with them. it is all moot. he is dead. shut up and move on to the next thing. like whether Megan Fox is the next big thing or a decently beautiful no talent hack that tries to copy Angelina Jolie's early behavior to get attention
28It's interesting that Oprah would ask Michael if he "wanted to be white" as should looked at him with those fake contacts making her brown eyes BLUE.
29I didn't like the interview either...she didn't connect with him at all.

31Wow, I'm not even gunna say anything to the MJ haters, I loved him and there's a lot of stuff about him that could be fact or fiction, but I don't care...he was a great singer-dancer, he loved and helped everyone he could and from how his children are I can see he was a good dad. SO whether he had the skin disease or he bleached it, it doesn't effect us in any way so all the hate should just stop!
32Why are you wasting your time trying to convince people that M J had a legitamite skin disease and was trying to even out his skin colour by bleaching. Many people do it and they do not have a disease, go RAT on them. Focus on his GENIUS, his HUMANITARIAN acts and his LOVE for the world. You'll never change that.
33Oprah, can you find it in your heart to say nice things about Michael and probably do a show about his achievements around the world? We know that he had faults we all do, no need to let them out shine the good things he has done.
34I don't think people are going to be convinced either way whether or not he had vitiligo (btw, the process is called depigmentation to even out the skin) or he bleached his skin because he wanted to be white. I do, however, find it ironic that it's the topic of conversation among a site that I'm sure has predominately white posters, most whom have had spent hours in the sun or tanning booth. I've seen some tan white people who are as dark as Michael was pre-vitligo, are those people trying to be black?
35We are giving Oprah too much credit for just breathing, she's just a hard working woman lucky enough to have made so much money that she became some sort of a modern Midas touch, she's not a genius per se, she has made herself to be perceived that way and the world is filled with believers. She could die tomorrow and only in America some people will cry for about 3 days, then the world will continue to rotate no matter how much money she gave away, it doesn't feel is coming from her heart (if she has one), she's tough, implacable, a know it all, no loving feeling, no tenderness whatsoever, she cries on camera for stupid reasons, for the ratings alone, etc. MJ made the world stopped everytime he was doing an interview, a concert or just by appearing in public, and even now after almost 4 months of his death the fans and haters from all over the world keep crying, complaining, waiting for justice and talking about anything and everything that has do with him. I for one, adored him then and even more now, what he did or didn't do is between him and God now, his creator, the one that gave the world this precious jewel, with so much talent and a humongeous heart. RIP Michael and enjoy the sad show that we mortals are offering to you, sorry for the mistakes.
36Oprah talks lyk she hv never made any mistakes in her life nd all of the othe mj haters tell u wat no body is perfect i love mj and since his death im beging 2 feel lyk im him i play his videos all day and i talk like him walk like him sing like him and lol i've always been like this bt ds days im startin 2 realise that god gave us da same talents ..singin nd dancing ......im da new mj bt wit da k @ da end
37As long as there is a Michael Jackson to talk about the world will never be silent.. I have loved Michael Jackson from the time I became aware of his talent through music and dance. . and it doesn't matter what people out there says about him, they will never ALTER my opinion of him... even in death he can't be left alone.. he made certain choices in life that only he had to live with.. whether he lied about the number of surgeries he had or whether he lied about his skin color, all of that is irrelevant... what we should be talking about ARE the good things he did for the sake of humanity.. like donating millions of dollars to charity.. opening foundations to help the sick and the needy... and he did so much more in his lifetime... it is so sad to see that the world is only focusing on the negative aspects of his life..whether true or false... I know that none of the negativity will ever affect my love for Michael Jackson... My only regret is that I never ever got a chance to meet him... hug him and tell him that I love him and believe in him... May he rest in peace...Michael I love you and I hope we meet some time in the great unknown. Rest in peace my love...
