But she's always had a great relationship with Kurt, and Goldie and Kurt very openly felt that being with one person forever is not their belief. It's definitely not something I'd live by, but it seems to have worked really well for them.

Why is it that whenever an American publication names a place in Canada, it's always "Muskoka, Canada" "Toronto, Canada" "Vancouver, Canada," instead of "Muskoka, Ontario" "Toronto, Ontario" "Vancouver, British Columbia."

Do Americans not know the provinces in Canada and they assume that Canada is just one big place, with no divisions? If so, it's a little sad because most Canadian could name all 50 States no problem.

What I never understood about Chris Robinson and Kate Hudson's relationship was how she was ok with the "no questions asked" about when he was on tour. I remember reading some interview she did where she basically said she doesn't ask Chris about what happens when he goes on tour with other women, and she doesn't care.

I don't think I'd have the same laid back attitude about my husband but to each her own.

I agree, princis. They were pretty open about how they didn't believe in fidelity as a requirement. That's why I've never understood all the fault being heaped on her - they've both made it pretty clear that Chris wasn't faithful all that often himself.

Her marriage didn't work out, so they ended it. It's a shame, but are she or her husband bad people? No. And now she's dating. I don't understand why she gets so much flack about it.

And as far as setting an example for Ryder, it's not a big deal. My mother dated when I was young and I saw my dad on weekends and I didn't grow up with skewed family values. Kate and Chris spend time with Ryder and lavish love and attention on him. Why do some people think it's such a big deal that they're dating around?

Whiplash...sometimes love alone isn't always the answer. Most people would agree that the best enviroment for a child is with BOTH his parents, married, and in a stable relationship. The problem with todays society is that we've forgotten what a marriage is all about. When you consider over 50% of marriages fail and this poor child is witnessing his parents "dating" it's sad to me that this has to be his "normal"
I grew up in a family where my parents were married for 46 years until death parted them. I've been married 32 years and my kids will tell you that this is their "normal"
Now for little Ryder, which do you think he would have preferred?
I'm just saying before divorce is considered maybe all options should be explored.
This is my opinion and I respect anyone else who might feel differently.
